You should do challenges like Top Gear and buy bikes for 1000 pounds and do cross-European trips and stuff, especially if you put the motorcycles to tasks they're not made for. I'm thinking along the lines of the Vietnam special. That was great!

yep, agreed. We wanted an HP4 for this feature but BMW didn't have one available for us at the time. But to be honest, it wouldn't have made much difference to the outcome - it's all about having an adventure on sportsbikes, rather than a head-to-head test. Cheers Neevesy, MCN.

I just hate rain, wind and cold weather when riding. No snow where I live otherwise that too. Other than that, here in Fresno California I am good to ride a large chunk of the year.

they test the 20 k Ducati and the standard BMW S100RR why did they not test the new BMW S100RR HP4 near the same price as the Ducati would of been abetter test saying they are near the same price

It would be great, but you can bet your bottom dollar their trip cost tens, if not hundreds of thousands of pounds-worth of TV Licence-payer's money. Cash well spent, becasue it was fantastic to watch, but MCN has much more modest means...Neevesy, MCN.

The BMW may not be the best looking bike but when you consider it was BMW's first sports bike and the ZX10 and the Panigale were produced to beat it and failed badly you realise how good the bike is. Who cares if it is ugly on anything else you will only see it's back end oh and by the way it is way cheaper and more reliable than the Panigale
