I really like your videos, very informative and have helped me decide on what to do with my 959 Pani. In the end I chose H11 led replacement bulbs, they have very small ballasts and fit really well. Perfect for riding at night as they're much brighter on the road. Thank you

This was my second upgrade for my ‘15 899. First was the carbon tank protector. I also looked into used 1199S LED headlights. Buuuuuut after just replacing the bulbs I was fairly satisfied and never looked back.

was looking to do the same exact thing to my '15 899... j ust wanted to know how is the light visibility at night.. the bulbs look great color wise just want to make sure i am not losing any visibility at night when on the back roads or around town.. i ride a lot at night..

Its the same as the stock amber lights. Since I used to work night shift, I ALWAYS used the high-beams when it is dark out. Well actually I ALWAYS use the high-beams day or night just to be more visable to everyone else.

you should try phillips xtreme vision fog led lights they are direct fit and have far more visibility than the crystal vision halo bulbs... ! but they are a bit pricy around 100 usd for a pair

Yep, the high and low beams are both that H11 size.

ur videos are great sir...... actually i live in india sir n m sure there are not much panigale 1299s and 1199 ..n whower own thm will be defntly not parting up their bike ... i will like to buy a new one ...can u send me the link of oem headlight..will be very helpful to me ...m buying panigale 959 next week n in india the bike is coming with side twin cylinder exhaust..that looks n sound bad so will be changing the exhaust and headlight ...n the diffrence between 959 and 1299 is around 35000 doller diffrence :P...plz send me the link of oem headlight so i cn order them thnx a lot

While I hate the idea of fully tinted halogens, I understand your reasoning. Though, you can reduce the loss of output from the tint by doing an H9 conversion, and using H9 Sylvania ZXE bulbs. H9 are twice as bright as H11, and require only a small amount of trimming to fit.

You could also go with the LED bulbs to make it more LED :P

CurryRider these are already bad enough for output. An LED kit would be worse, and means you have to attach a driver somewhere, and hope it stays

I have little hope for LED kits. The one manufacturer I do have hope in(Diode Dynamics) even says that their upcoming LED kits, with years of development, are still marginally better than halogen. HID Projectors are still king today. LED projectors are still in their infancy, and are suffering the same growing pains that HIDs had in the 90s. I'm sure Matrix LEDs in the near future will surpass HIDs. I'll be glad to see it too, so that people won't be able to swap cheap aftermarket kits, with every color of the rainbow, into them.

I know it's not a Ducati but...I put this bulb in my CBR650F as it was half LED/half halogen as well. Hated the look. According to this page, they have the H11. This bulb looks fantastic and is LED. www.opt-7.com/fluxbeam-x-motorcycle-led-headlight/

The double-sided tape from Home Depot or Lowes (red color) holds everything in place. The converter is tiny and will fit perfectly on the side of the steering stem on the frame. It's about the size of one of those rubber erasers that you get in packs of 10.
