Just completed the job with this awesome tutorial - thanks man! And regarding the breather hoses I noticed the following: if you disconnect the lower end of that hose, behind the lower water cooler, you can loosen & attach them at the tank without touching the electrical harness😅

Hammering the heck out of it and getting 25-29 mpg? You ain’t hammering the heck out of anything if you getting close to 30 mpg.

Depths of hell haha Also dropped one screw and it thankfully popped out onto the ground. While cleaning, I Inadvertently swept the spacers away into the unknown… never saw Them again.

I wonder if the OEM parts from the 1299 would fit the 899 (headlights of cause)

Maybe if you were desperate, but it would be busting at the seams! It's pretty full with a laptop, shoes, extra face shield, and sweatshirt jammed in there.

NEED HELP. I bought this and while I can push the "Mode" button which will access the "Race" "Sport", "Wet" modes, after that I have no idea how to access the detailed menu whereby you can adjust the DTC, DWC, Engine Brake, Clock, etc? Does anyone know how? Also, is there a function to make the Hazard Lights work?

So is there any risk if you don't or a reason why one definitely should reverse the wires being clipped on? I just finished mine last night on my 2016 Panigale S 1299 and put everything back without doing it. Are they maybe at risk of getting cooked if not as far away as possible and attached to the fairing? They are in the same areas as they were, just free ballin' now. Excuse me, total mechanical noob here haha

Where would I find the indicator relay for a 2014 899 or any other pinagale? I have LED mirrors but not working 100 as I figure it might be the relay but can't locate and not option to fit in line resistor......

Just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos, not just this one. Bought a 2012 1199 Panigale earlier this year and have been using a few of your videos for maintenance/improvements. Damn, it's a great bike. It is not convenient to work on but so satisfying to ride on!

Excellent video, but I have a question: Does your insurance cover in the event of an accident with the bike on the carrier? There are many instances that come to mind, like an uninsured motorist rear ending you. Or the hitch failing, etc. Thank you.

Great video mate. Just wondering if you have had any problem with the santa fe chassis? I'm about to instal one on my santa fe and the provider said the rack + the bike (aprox 110 kg) would damage the chassis. Please share your experience with us. Thanks in advance

I happened to be drinking a Glenlivet 12 [Father's Day present] whilst watching this vid... love the analogies! There's a Ducati rider who rides the roads in my area which are tight twisties [Kinglake to St Andrews].... I have been overtaken a number of times by his bike that I am sure is a 1299. I believe it's a 1299 as I've been overtaken on Phillip Is by such a bike.... There is nothing and I mean nothing like the sound of a 1299 being thoroughly abused... the sound of it snarling past at x 3 the speed I'm doing is horrifying and intoxicating.... I want one............... edit: actually I'll add one thing about being overtake by a 1299: there's a certain "thump" or impact that I've experienced when being overtaken, not sure if anyone else has experienced it but it's so different than being overtaken by a 1000rr or a gixxer

Much easier without the fuel tank on the bike. I did mine without removing the side fairing or fuel tank. Was a little tricky but doable.

My manual says NOT to change the rear diff fluid on my 2023 R1250GSA at 600 miles. That oil is seasoning the gears and bearings, creating a layer of varnish to protect them.

Dude you're the only guy who doesn't just drop the well nuts in the front fairing and pull out the screen and screw in a new one without realizing what they've done. Nice video. Super clear and concise.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for ur videos - They have helped me with my 2013 1199 Panigale. It'd almost 10 years old - puts a smile on my face each time I ride it and a grimace each time my mechanical abilities are challenged by it's ability to rattle bolts and nuts loose - safety wiring has helped with that. I also ride my bike on cross-country junkets - third time across Canada and USA. Practical bike = NO fun bike = YES. Scotch tasting and Ducati enjoyment go hand in hand. Again Thank you...
