If you go above 8 ft, why would it short cycle?

Because the unit is seeing heat from the upper area and not the area we're treating for heat removal. We don't need to remove all the heat is areas just the heat lower then 8 feet

Question about location of air handler wall unit. My room is 13x33. Vaulted ceiling. High point is13 ft on 33ft wall and 9 ft at the 13 ft walls. Better to mount air handler on the 33ft wall(middle of wall)or 13 ft wall. My concern on mounting against the 33 ft wall is it will not circulate the air. Will it just bounce off the opposite wall.

The recommendation for the indoor unit is 8’ feet. If you put the unit high how will you clean it? And the unit will work better at 8’ Remember they just remove heat the most important aspect is getting the hot air to move to the indoor units return and get processed. That is more important. Also, the unit can have the airflow adjusted in many different ways.

you can pipe them either way left or right

Hello, thank you for the video. I have a question, my dealer says that the refrigerant line must be at least 118 inches, is that correct? In my case, the outdoor unit would hang directly behind the indoor unit (Mitsu MUZ EF50) and therefore only have a length of 40 inches. How do you feel about this, are there any problems with the short pipe? Thanks a lot

All of our work is in Maryland. I wasn’t aware Mitsubishi derated for high altitude. What exactly is the cause for that

It's cause the air is thin and it takes more air movement a crossed the coils
