Lemme tell ya something, DD! An awesome laundry room is a FANTASTIC part of any house. Plenty of room to sort, soak, wash, dry, fold, stack, treat stains, hang to dry on a rod or on a line.... I have a very nice house, but really just normal. BUT I have an AWESOME LAUNDRY ROOM , and it is the best part of the house!!! Everyone should be so lucky! She'll be so glad! It really makes life so much easier.

Saaame! It's such a long process, but so so so rewarding. Currently whole house is drywalled and painted, bathroom tiled & vanities installed, tubs are set and drains are running. 1/2 of the house has flooring, so we are SO CLOSE.

I love that laundry room!! As a mom of 3 small kids I can totally appreaciate that large window to the back yard! LOVE LOVE the mud room too. That's the kind of laundry room I'd love to have. (minus the front loaders, I'm a top loader person)

If you ever do a Q&A on this I would love to know how you came up with the remodel plans - thinking through changes to my own space and really not sure how/where to begin to think about what might actually be doable and/or how to find a good designer 🤯 but you are doing a great job, Taylor! I appreciate all the work you share with us and everything looks great! I have one suggestion, because I noticed some things that looked like they could be brass in your bathroom and possibly the cabinet pulls in your mudroom. If you have any brass fixtures, handles etc that your kiddos will be touching, it may be best to change those out (brass contains lead, even the "lead-free brass" they use in plumbing). You may be aware of this and those things are not brass, and I don't mean at all to imply that you're not being careful about these things -- I am not! I see the love you have for your family! But maybe some of your suscribers do not know this, and it will help them chose materials during their reno. I was not aware of this and am in the process of switching out faucets, hoses (and even keys!!!) to stainless steel or other materials that don't have lead that I know kids will be touching on the regular. Thanks again for sharing your remodel process. It's amazing.

As a heads up I used that peel and stick stuff in our laundry room it went from white to Yellow in a short amount of time and when I peeled it off it messed up the drywall. so be warned. That cubby set up thing is perfect! I need to make something like that for our four kids. 🙂
