I cant imagine the bills in the hospital, rehabilitation and therapy. Thank goodness for her recovery and provision. Husband was there throughout and also caring for the baby. It is fortunate they are so blessed financially ❤

I am actually Canadian, so I never paid a single dollar for my hospital stay, rehab or therapy, it was all covered by our health care. Trust me, we pay for it in taxes though.

I am so sorry for your loss. It only happens in about 5% of cases, (which I know does not make it any easier) but to this day, people still pass away from GBS and it breaks my heart. Which is why I try to bring awareness to GBS and help educate nurses and doctors so they can better understand and treat it

This paralysis is very often caused by regular old flu shot! It is also said to be a possible side effect to cv19 vax!!!! I'm an RN and have taken care of patients stricken with GBS! It's terrifying for them. It does NOT affect the brain.

My very best friend woke up one morning while he was in college not being to move at all. Turned out is was Guillaume's Barre. Took a while to diagnose. After many months and lots of recovery efforts, it took a couple years, maybe longer, he did regain his strength and use of body. He was a miracle! Went on to complete college, got a Masters..became head of medical unit at a major medical center....thank God for this miracle!!!

God bless her. My dad had a flu shot 20 years ago and contracted Guillaune-Barre. Unfortunately, after a 5 1/2 month battle, his poor body just couldn't fight any more. This family is so blessed that they have their wife, daughter, mother back. It was a tough rough road. So happy for her. 🙏

Sometimes the person who truly hast to fight is the last one to have recognition. You worked so hard to come back from that. Others could’ve given up. You didn’t. I took care of a person like her and do all the PT everyday even when it is painful has to do it , he keeps telling me that he will punch me when I do his PT everyday and I keep telling me to get up and punch me. He gets so angry at me but I continued to do his PT No matter How much he hates me, but with perseverance we did it he started to move his extremities and patiently started getting him up and worked very hard and after awhile he started gaining some strength , patiently with vitamins too he walk out of our facility and came back to Thank me for putting up with his anger . And foul mouth. It’s all worth it. Seeing him walk out if our facility. Keep up the goid work and God bless all your effort all who are envolved with your care. God bless you all.

@greenpeas154 Yes! God did Bless their family! At the time when the wife was going through God Blessed her to be strong and come out of sickness. And yes, God also Blessed her husband too, to be strong, help with their new baby, and be by his wife's side while she was going through in her body.. Then God Blessed the wife day by day as she worked out, and strengthened her until she was able to do everything on her on... Then as years came on the couple changed and had their differences until they grew apart which lead them to divorce... Which things like this happens all the time when hardship hits a family. People change, God doesn't... So yes God Blesses us every day, bcuz we can wake up one day and be different. So always be thankful for the little things just as the big things...💜
