I am going to make this very clear again!
I do not own this video!
I really don't want it to be take down because of copyright so I do not own anything at all!
All rights go to TLC and the producers of the United Bates of America, and also to the film crew and anyone else!
I apologize that the sound is kind of off from the video, its just that it was such a big upload that it barely worked so im sorry!

Oh my gosh. I just realized how charming the Bates are. And truly affectionate. I like them much better than the Duggars, by far. They are so natural and candid. And the kids are hilarious and genuine. Now I have to catch up. I'm hooked after 2 episodes.

I thought it was hilarious when the grandfather was elbowing the grandmother to make sure she watches what she said. Pappaw seemed pretty happy, I think grandma isn't crazy about the number of kids they've had and she likes a neat house. I think she loves them all though. Nothing wrong with that. The hallelujah at the end cracked me up. I don't think TLC should have shown that.

The grandparents must have grown up in a time when money was very tight, so they probably have lived all their lives trying to conserve resources as much as possible, which is why things like the fridge door being opened so much bothers them. Also, they're older and tired and accustomed to the quiet life now, so of course they will feel overwhelmed with so much company. But I'm sure they love their family, it's just a bit much 😊

I completely agree with you! Especially the girls, but I think all of the Duggar’s should experience life outside their home before getting married and having kids. That just seems to be what they’re taught. Women stay home, have babies, and take care of the household while men work and bring home the money. To each his own though. I can’t judge. I just hope they all live happy lives.

Its hard for old people to keep up with so many young people (children). It takes a whole lot of energy and patience. As much as they obviously love their grandchildren, its a lot of work (cooking, cleaning, socializing, discipline)... My grandpa can barely deal with three little ones

Would have missed that if you didnt mention it! I think when the grandma was asked if she likes her house the way it is and not trashed when the grand kids visit,the grandpa knew its a touchy subject so was kind of warning her to not to voice her personal opinion too much....

@scootermarcydog
@scootermarcydog 9 жыл бұрын
I watched the same thing and disagree with your conclusion. She obviously loves her grandchildren, but having that many children to your house at once is hard on anyone. Did you hear the conversation about how the kids go in and out and there is always activity? Truthfully Grandparents with far less grandkids have trouble with energy and noise levels and it has nothing to do with loving them. While I'm sure they family does their best to clean up....it still takes a day and a half to clean up afterward. Sounds like folks want to judge this woman....but most Grandma's if they are truthful will admit that while they love their Grandchildren as they get older it is harder....I have two boys and when they were little my Mom took them one at a time when they stayed overnight because the energy level was too much with two....imagine if I had 19.....give her a break and stop making her out to be unloving.

I imagine that it will take the grandparents some time to rest. The kids all seem "normal" to me except mama Bates looks at her husband the same way as mama Duggars does to Jim Bob...fawning.But to each his own...yes,I have a husband and love him very much but I can also manage on my own and am independent. What I want to know is; how in the world did the duggars got so popular and have so many seasons, yet these people didnt. So sad!!! I would've gladly watched every episode of the Bates', but the Duggars give me the creeps!!

I pray since UpTv stopped showing Bringing Up Bates as of 2022...That TLC will bring it back to their channel...That's where United Bates Of America started on TLC...Before they went over to UpTv and became Bringing Up Bates... UpTv was to air Season 11 of Bringing Up Bates February 5th 2022...But just plain won't now😔So there's a brand new season we may never see if another television network doesn't begin airing Bring Up Bates🙏🏼

I didnt like how the grandma said Hallelujah when they drove away implying she couldn't wait to get rid of them- she would regret saying that if they were in an accident on the way home and died.....

oh come on now. Wouldn't you yourself be a bit relieved to see an extra 21 people, 19 of them children for Heaven's sake, going home? I WOULD and I'm only 41. For one I believe her to be tired and overwhelmed, period. And for two I'm sure being on tv isn't something they are comfortable with. And three I'm sure Grandpa didn't want her to say something because it could be misunderstood and now because she didn't say anything because he nudged her people are really judging the poor woman!! I would hate for people to judge my very loving, elderly mama and I hope you feel the same way about yours. And I sure hope those Grandparents don't see this and that no one else tells them such awful things are being said about her.

Beth Bollig I never said anything awful about her as you accused me of?.... all i said she only sees them once or twice a year so she should at least be a bit happier to see them. I dont find anything about my comment inappropriate or mean.....

CandaceWhite"implying she couldn't wait to get rid of them" "- she would regret saying that if they were in an accident on the way home and died....." is what you said. If you don't see those two statements as judgmental and mean and some of the other crappy comments posted about her on this whole clip then you don't but I don't get it. That's all.

Beth Bollig My statements were not in fact "judgmental" or "mean" as you declare- i merely "observed" and related my "opinion" without a hint of vindictiveness or spite. There is a major difference.......
