Nezha isn't hard per say, but positioning in conquest fights is incredibly hard. You need perfect timing for engages and one mistake or bad sash/ult and nezha is COMPLETELY irrelevant. She's just a risky God and very few people can play her at a high level.

nahh, ra is far from any of the gods on this list, his passive is even really good at going in on the enemy, doing the damage and get out again because of that movement speed buff, just go right in the enemies face, drop your 3, then 2 and then 1 right into them and then run away! and even then, he have the shortest cd on an ult in the game!

Ra is very hard to be good against strong opponents. Definitely a top five. Any god can be "easy" to play depending on how you're playing. If you want to be effective and contribute to your team then Ra is definitely top 5 hardest. His speed boost isn't enough to get you out if you're pushing into them with your 2 then 1 combo. They will target you first if they're smart and they'll counter pick and counter build your healing. If you hit a Ra early and get a lead his abilities won't do enough to keep up with other mages like Scylla, Raijin, and so on. I play a lot of ranked conquest and I'm pretty high up in rank so I'm going of that mode mostly. I'm also a diamond Ra. In other modes you can sit back and hit heals all day, but you still have to be pretty accurate to hit his ray and ult from the back because people can see it coming from a mile away if you're standing back and they'll get tired of you healing everyone and target you constantly. A Fenrir pick basically makes your 3, 2, 1 push combo very risky because he can pick you up, pull you out your 3 and then you can't get away with your speed boost.

Hhahaahha, I do find him easy :P you can use your ring toss to build up your passive, then use your autos (last hit is AoE), if you lose health taking down the lane, use your 2 to heal up! :P

Honestly, the hardest part about learning Serqet is reading her passive properly. Her kit is really easy to get used to, she was so much easier for me to play at a decent level that most other assassins. I mean heck, you get a free setup for your main damaging tool and you even get 2 chances.

Serqet is actually pretty easy. Hardest part of her kit is her taunt and it's not that hard to hit. Plus she can build on the bulkier side so mistakes won't get punished as hard especially when she has two escapes.

I put Nu Wa in there not to spoil any of the gods and because she is frequently called the easiest god due to her ult (though it's debatable). I was wrong and didn't mean to offend - I apologize. This is the first video of yours I've seen and certainly didn't expect a reply. You're right about the Nu Wa thumbnail and I understand your reasoning. As for Serqet, I suppose it's more about how to play her smart and utilize her passive; I - and I know I'm not alone by a long shot - had trouble even using her kit well at first, much less playing the goddess to most of her potential. I will definitely agree with Ullr being among the most difficult. I'd love to get good with him but always seem to mis-time my cooldowns or miss a vital skill shot.

yeah chronos is simple, yet hitting your 1 is not that easy, you gotta time your stun, and learn your passive. Chronos without is passive is just a weaker mage

not at all. I find myself doing 700dmg with the 1 without using the 35% magical passive bonus. I tend to use the 100% mana refund more in the lvl 12 down for constant spamming and it works just fine... his stun is easy to hit as it is too large to miss unless your prediction sucks. other than being a bad player it should be very easy to use. Chronos.

I don't know if The Morrigan eclipses Ullr but she has a very high skill cap in her ultimate meaning she has to know how to effectively use the god she is copying, which varies even more by how the player she is copying builds their god (like attack speed vs ability based power).

What about Chronos? His 1 is a tiny AoE attack with considerable delay which makes it a true skillshot, his 3 is very slow moving so you have to be good at leading also making it a true skillshot and his only true escape is his ult which too has a considerable delay, so making good use of it is also... a true skill. His saving grace that makes him a devastating god for highly skilled players is his short cooldowns and steroid.

If you have trouble landing those two with Chronos, you won't even hit anything with Ullr. Chrono's 1 and 3 isn't even that hard to master, and since Chronos is basically an ADC, you don't rely on his abilities to deal damage. Ullr's axe 1 has longer delay and smaller hitscan, Ullr's bow 3 has tinier AoE (which is basically only one god) and considerable higher range, those who can master him just melts you at any stages of the game.

His one is not that hard to hit once you get used to it and its radious is big enough to be able to hit a full wave if you basic attack the front creeps a couple of times. His three,even though it's slow,you usually dont aim it at faraway targets,but rather on enemies close to you,making it easy to hit due to its big radious. And finally his ullt is indeed slow to activate but you generally want to use it right before or while taking damage,not after,so you can guarantee your survival.

Good video :) For me the hardest god is: Hel: - she has no escape - she has no real cc to balance the 1st point (slow is mehh) - she has no real ultimate (deals quite a lot dmg with her 3 in dark stance, but then there is Nox with almost 4 ultimates with her 1 and 2 dealing more then a 1000 dmg and her escape deals over 700 when built pure dmg) - she relies on heals heavily, which wouldn't be a problem, if there wouldn't be so many heal reduction items (a.k.a Curse, Brawlers, Pestelance, so on...) - though her 3 is big in radius, it's not like e.g Scylla's 2, she HAS TO be quite close/closer to the enemy to deal the dmg, Scylla only has to throw out Crush into the distance and gg - the focus she gets every match (it doesn't matter that you have great heals if 4 people are attacking you and you don't even have a chance to press 3) And the god I'm the worst at is poor Tyr :( I can't make him work..Shame on me y.y Anways, thanks for the list, it was interesting to hear your opinion about it. One thing I absolutely love about Ullr is how versatile he is. I haven't played on conquest in a while, waiting for S4, but if I remember he can be played ADC, Mid, and Solo. He could even potentially be played in the jungle. Don't know if these builds still work but for ADC I usually start with trans and potions, then boots, Asi (can go ichaviel if ahead), Qins, Titans or Jotunns (if you want the CDR), then a crit or Bloodforge, sell an attack speed item for more crit if you want to. Then for solo I usually went Bluestone, boots, and shit ton of mana pots, jotunns, then trans (kinda late stacking), ichaviel, breastplate to be slightly tanky, then crit or bloodforge or more AS - whichever you need or want more.

it depends on your build. I like to build her tanky. You can use her 3 then 1 followed by 2 to trap ppl on the point for extra damage. you can also use your 1 to run into ppl when there health is really low to get kills.

I agree with a lot of this list but to add some honorable mentions: Assassin - Serqet, bad serqets are basically turnips but good ones are godlike Mage - Janus, you need good mechanics to hit the 2 raw and awareness to help allies with portals Hunter - Skadi, you need great positioning because you have no mobility + good management of the dog to be effective Guardian - Ares, I think it takes a lot of skill to hit chains super consistently especially if you're trying to hit them on different targets for the boost on his 2... also bad ares' are terrible Warrior - Osiris is pretty much the only one imo (maybe Amaterasu because I find her hard, dunno why xD)

i think guardian should be xin tain, cuz he hasnt got than much dmg, hp and cc. Amaterasu is pretty easy because she has heal and cc ultimate. Skadi is also easy bacause she can gain speed from her 3 and that can make her escape, plus the slows of kaldir / if you take frostbound. The hardest hunter (imo) is amc, because you need to time everthing

If you build him lifesteal and crit, he can be one of the most hard-hiting hunters in the game. PLUS the slows are mad bruh

My top 5 IMO 5. Agni, has so much potential to do so much with his 1. 4. Hel, managing her mana and switching stances can get complicated and most people misuse her 2 which can help a lot. 3. Ne Zha, he is almost all skill shot based and if you miss your 3 you have lost so much time for kill/outplay potential. 2. Terra, she can be unkillable if used properly and can create so much play. 1. Ullr, I agree with Ullr being difficult however, he is a hunter and all he really needs to do is land basics. he has an escape, a stun, a power spike and has extremely long range. but to be used to his full potential he can be unstoppable.

I don't see how they would think that, SMITE's Unique to other MOBA's because of the fact that it has Third person, and that "most" abilities and attacks in the game are skill shots, but when you look at another MOBA, for example: league of legends, "most" abilities and attacks are fired by clicking on the enemy

+Dwolf625 I would say Dota 2 is the hardest just because of how harsh it on deaths in other Mobas you lose some farm and they get some bonus gold for the kill Dota you lose out on farm and they steal gold from you for their bonus and then if you don't know what you're doing you quick spawn and use even more gold. However Smite would probably be the second hardest simply because they don't coddle you with hitting basics like other mobas hell I've played like 12 games of league and most of those I was 1v2ing in lane as an adc

My opinion on hardest gods to play (as of 2017) -Ao Kuang; A close-range mage is dangerous to play, his passive is difficult to manage and his abilities require good use. -He Bo; His abilities are fairly short range and have rather small targeters, requiring high risk and high precision -Isis; Most of her abilities require careful aiming -Janus; Knowing how to combo is buffs mid-fight to get the most from his damage, also aiming his wavy attack -Nu Wa; Properly wielding all her utility -Sol; Predicting how best to use her escape, and predicting the path of an enemy for her ult -The Morrigan; Knowing what god to switch to and when -Zhong Kui; A short-range mage whose abilities must be comboed well to be effective

Loki is not easy to use against good and balanced teams, sure you can ult and 2 shot someone late game but getting out of there alive without getting spammed by CC and killed just as easily is the real challenge, also entire teams will always target a Loki player. Most of the game you will just sit around waiting for someone to get out of position for an easy kill but if that doesnt happen because the players are smart you will feel pretty useless. Susano is hard to master but he has infinite escapes, best mobility in the game and he can pull you from across the goddamn lane, all of his abilities are also huge AoEs that are braindead easy to hit.

1.ullr (the 6 skills and a pain to rotate his pin and he never scemes to.have his jump at the ready) 2.serquet (constantly have to know how much damage your poison can do and landing the 3 hits with her 1 and both her 2 and her ult are thin lines) 3.chronos (landing his 1 isnt easy and being able to time your 2 for the strongest buff from his passive is hard to keep track of) 4.hel (6 abilitys no dash and shes easy to learn hard to master a master hel will always land her cleanse on herself or her teammates and will keep in mind of her passive for mana regen for her and her teammates around her) 5.ares (always weird to build and if you cant land his 1 constantly he sucks but land his 1 and he rocks)

I agree with a lot of this, one problem though. If there is any god harder than Ullr, it is without a doubt Chronos. I am absolutely astounded that you made no mention to him. His 1 is a odd circle for new players, similar to Ullr's 3. His 2 interacts with the strangest passive in the game that (in my opinion) is damn near impossible to micromanage. His 3 is a (kind of) slow line ability. Finally his ultimate is something a new Chronos player would not know how to time whatsoever. If you ever watch a pro Chronos compared to a new Chronos. I would say it is almost the same as the Ullr gap if not worse. A new Chronos will miss all his 1 & 3 and always land his 2 on random segments if not missing which one they wanted.

Replace Ne Zha with Serqet. Ne Zha is pretty simple. land your abilities and you succeed. Serqet, on the other hand, requires you to to use the 4>2>1 combo and passive on one of many enemies.

Her 2 in dark stance is more or less apart of combing her damage, and all Hel players should being using it. Her 2 in light stance isn't about being a good Hel player but just having overall good game awareness so you know when to use it. You could say the same about both Ravana and Chang'e players. Neither of them are hard gods to play but both happen to have immunity abilities.

I'm not even that good at this game, but I still find Ullr to be fun to play. I thought he would be on this list, but didn't expect a number 1. For me, Ullr takes technique and posititioning, and i find a lot of players underestimate his burst potential with his abilities. Him being one of the few gods that don't have an amazing "Ultimate", can be pretty lousy to some people, but I think his range and skill cap greatly make up for it for people that can play him effectively. (Also, sniping with his 3 just feels SOOoooooo satisfying :3)

This list definitely shows that "hard" is a very opinionated topic. For example, of the gods you mentioned, there is no way I would have even considered Susano, Rama, Terra, or Osiris in this list. All of these gods have relatively low skill floors, and as such you generally don't feel frustrated when playing with them, so you can play them more often and easily improve on them. Yes, they all have high skill caps, but so do most of the gods in the game. Gods I would have considered before these would have been Chronos, Serqet, and Sylvannus, but the reason for those is because of the inherent difficulty to use core abilities in their kits. I would probably put Izanami as harder than them as well, but that was just because she was underpowered.

Chronos does take a lot of getting used to, with his awkward windups, a situational clock, relatively low health, a very difficult early for inexperienced players. Anyone can play Chronos late game by pressing 2 in section 4. However, timing his ult and being aware of where it will place you can be extremely difficult due to the age long windup, and landing his 1 can be very difficult for newer players

I main Serqet so honestly I'm not surprised she wasn't mentioned. The only problem with Serqet in my opinion is just staying relevant, you can be having a perfect game and still lose because you barely affect the game momentum in most situations. However, the easiest thing to do with her is kill confirm, obviously because of her fourth skill. In order to be a good Serqet, you need to know who and when to target a god. Just getting kills don't matter as much as who you kill.

My personnal list: 1. Loki 2. Susano 3. Thor 4. I'm beginning to see a pattern But honestly I'm also the person who picks up difficult things quite quickly and struggles with the simple things i.e. gods that are considered "easy" are a struggle to use for me (with the exception of neith) and gods that people find a challenge to use I pick up at the snap of a finger... My first time playing Ullr was a year and a half ago in a MOTD where you picked your opponents god in 1v1. First round of the MOTD my opponent picked Ullr and after using him I decided i liked his style, dropped neith and labbed him (love solo Ullr). In the gods of death only map a couple weeks later I used Osiris for the first time and picked him up. Anhur has never posed a struggle for me although I've only played him twice and rarely missed the "hard to hit" combos, so even though I won't pick him up, he is an easy option...

imo Skadi is fairly difficult. Her abilities are easy to land, yes, but you have to manage Kaldr's life carefully. If he dies at the wrong time, you lose 2/3 of your potential damage when it could be critical to a teamfight.

Serquet is hard as hell to play and I'd say that hel is quite hard too. Her cleanse is one of the few abilities in smite which asks you to know what skills ennemies are going to use. I think it's actually on a totally diffrent level than just predicting ennemies movements.

osiris was my first diamond. i had always over looked him until i faced him kne day in solo lane and he trampled me. quin sai is a must. his 2 can take out the archers early on and you can box the enemy god inside their minions using your 3. even if they leap away you can poke them with your 2 (or 1) and too many times has my opponant tried backing under tower not realzing the distance of Osiris' abilities.

You don't need to be able to pillar stun on command to play anhur to a high potential. Chaining your jump to knock them towards a wall and then impaling them into said wall can sometimes even be more effective, because you can use the pillar to wall off an escape after that.

I'm kinda confused about this. I really would consider putting anhur and ullr in here. They are probably the gods with the highest skill cap and all but I thought you were ruling out gods that were still doing decent without their "specially hard combos" things like that. Ullr built attack speed still does as good as a most average adcs, and does not require hitting his abilities that much. Same goes for anhur. He can just use his 2 for clear and his 1 as a slow and that's it, he is still a hunter who does lots of damage if he hits his autos which are not hard to hit. Although I know this list is subjective I just would like some more argumentation and possibly some explanations on why some other gods like for example serqet, hel, bakasura. This being said, thank you for the daily uploads, I really enjoy your content. Keep up the good work! :D

Hiting his abilites at long range requires you to be near psychic, and fighting close range is suicide unless you have buckets of skill. And frankly I feel that osiris's 3(?) where he shoots out the mummy wrap, knocks him off the list. Plus the sickle to flail combo isn't very difficult to hit.

I'd of thought Janus would be up there. Anyone can hit his combo or get a snipe once in a while, but to actually be useful to your team as Janus mid in conquest takes a lot of skill. He's a top pick in SPL but his ranked win rate is around 40% . To use your portals and positioning effectively rather then just being there for damage is the trick

I feel like Agni is one of those gods who has a high skill floor but a low skill cap. This sounds like it doesn't make any sense, but if you take a complete noob for example and ask him to play Agni, he'll always, and ALWAYS put his Nox. fumes up first. But once you learn you can use Nox. fumes after your abilities persist, it becomes second nature and intuitive, even. Flame wave, of course, is an exception because nobody can easily guess that the FX were implemented as a part of utility, not style, but other than that, Agni becomes really simple to play.

I feel like aphro and chang'e are hard to play to their fullest potential. Both require a lot of positioning awareness, timing of abilities, and dealing with the fact that everyone and their mother is out to kill you. Also, given the amount of anti-healing in the game and high burst assassins that can camp you in lane or focus you out almost immediately in team fights, or their inability to really deal with cc and getting bursted, they require a lot of practice. It is difficult to be relevant in game if you don't have said above things.

I would replace Ne Zha with Awilix. Her damage comes mostly from timing and placements. For instance, to use her 3/Ult/2 combo you'd need to be behind a god which is difficult in most scenarios. Yes her ult works with team knockups and jump escapes but she'd have to have the reaction time and close enough distance to use her ult.

Chronos is pretty hard to play in my opinion, if you're trying to go ability based, which is viable if you hit your 1, and that can be very hard. do to its delay, and a smart player will be able to dodge it almost every time if you don't hit your stun which also can be extremely hard to hit because of how goddamn slow it flies. He is also squishy and contrary to what a lot of people think you can't really use your ult when you have super low life because they can easily kill you during the initial cast.

ullr is not the hardest at all, u stun them then freely unload your kit onto them, if you miss your kit on them he is a hunter so you still have your basic attacks, if you fail to hit your basic attacks you have a melee basic attack form. if you are in trouble you have a built in sprint relic, a leap and a stun. I do not agree with the ullr placement but the rest I don't mind

personally I feel Bakasura is the hardest god in the game, as you can't really go from team fight to team fight thanks to how charging his ult works, coupled with the fact that if your opponents are on level with you by about 10 you are going to be useless for the rest of the match. plus thanks to raw hp items giving 400 hp and the Sash tree each giving magic gods 250+ your 3 is now useless to against anyone who know what it does. He'll also never get a buff because Hi rez doesn't want him controlling the entire right side of the map like back when he was viable. it is near impossible to win with him outside of completely snowballing in the early game when he still matters.
