Used to hate these until my trainer gave me these same tips. I always felt like I had back pain doing them. As soon as he explained it like Brandon just did, pain gone and big gains on the posterior chain. Definitely listen to this advice if you hated these in the past like me.

Can you tell us that in short?

"Move the hips back"... Incredible. Ive read over 50 reddit form corrections and watched 40 min of deadlift vids. This is the first one that vastly lessened my lower back pain. I was trying to bend over to mimic what the hinge looks like without realizing moving the hips back is how to do it!!!

I love how detailed you are in the video about the posture from so many camera angles. I feel prepared to give this a shot in the gym with confidence!

Great instruction. I tried doing these a few weeks ago by just looking at diagrams, but I felt something bad in my lower back so I stopped. Now I know what the problem was. Thank you. I own your one of your dumbbell courses, its really good.

Love dumbbell Romanian deadlifts. It's always part of my leg day routine. Honestly- I can't do barbell RDLs for some reason. No matter how light I go .. very bad lower back feeling in a day or two after.

Great classic, bent knee -> posterior chain then go stiff leg and hit that back leg! Love these, great video.

Ahhh thank you. I've been trying to explain these to some friends I'm working out with but it's hard to really get newbies to do proper form with them, especially dumbbells. Thank you for the lessons

I love to try and go stiff leg RDL as I find it keeps my posterior chain more stable. More bent knees I bring in the more back comes in which I really don't like. Love RDLs

I'm curious why you stand all the way up straight. I've always done it to where I come back up just short of hip extension. I feel there's more tension. In the glutes if I don't stand completely straight up at the top of the move.

Brandon please try and reach out to marvel to give you a role in any of there movies coming up in the future. Maybe you could act as Thor's lost brother that's his enemy, they can think of something, you really have the physique😔

I noticed, I think because he got leaner, so all the curves at his quads and arms makes him look bigger, and he really has an impressive lower body
