Sometimes I skip interviews, but this is perhaps the only time I watched the entire clip because I'm such a fan of every single actor involved in this movie and obviously of Mr. Burton.

I know that Mr. Burton will probably never see this but I so much wish I could tell him how much this movie means to me. Dumbo has been my favorite character all my life. I won't bore everyone with the reasons but Dumbo really matters to me. I was really scared about this remake. I knew that if anyone could pull it off it was Tim Burton and I know it's just a movie but I was afraid of being let down. You don't mess with perfection. Well, I saw Dumbo yesterday as soon as it came out and I LOVED it. I cried and I laughed. I wish I could tell Mr. Burton how much it means to me. It must be quite something to know him in real life. Thank you Mr Burton!!

@@MephProduction YUP. Notice it's Disney that reunited Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito and Tim Burton, and not Warners. Disney owns Marvel, Warners owns Batman and all DC and in Tim Burton's book Burton on Burton he explained, "I don't think Warners wanted me to direct a third Batman. I even said that to them ["I realized halfway through my meeting with Warner Bros. that they didn't really want me to do the movie. They kept saying, ‘Don't you wanna go back and do a movie like Edward Scissorhands? Something smaller?' I said, 'You don't want me to do the movie, do you?'"]. I've always been a little at odds with them. I have a different perception of what dark is. There was a big backlash that it was 'too dark,' but I found this movie [Batman Returns] much less dark than the first one. It's just the culture climate. And they [Warners] hear that. They listen to that. I don't want to because I think it's dangerous and perverse. I think the culture is much more disturbed and disturbing than this movie, a lot more. But they just fixate on things and they choose targets. Got a lot of flake from parents thinking it [Batman Returns] was too scary for their kids. But I feel close to that material."

@@MephProduction Disney had a choice, Disney could have pulled the plug on the project, like Warners did to both Tim Burton's third Michael Keaton Batman film and Burton's Superman film. Michael Keaton's Batman wouldn't be back in a Batman Beyond movie because in the Batman Beyond cartoon Bruce Wayne isn't Batman anymore. So who would Tim Burton cast as the Terry McGinnis Batman? Johnny Depp? I'd rather have Michael Keaton back in the cowl than Johnny Depp as Batman. Instead I think since the cast is aging Warners should let Tim Burton make an animated stop motion puppet movie [like Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Frankenweenie] of Batman designed from Tim Burton's art with them still looking younger and Michael Keaton could voice Bruce Wayne Batman, Winona Ryder could voice a Burtonverse Barbara Gordon Batgirl. Asa Butterfield or Charlie Tahan could voice a Burtonverse Richard Grayson Robin. David Warner or Terence Stamp could voice Michael Gough's Alfred since Michael Gough passed in 2011.

@@StevieStitches not sure id want to see a stop-motion Batman, don't think the technique would lend itself to the material. and not sure why you think he would cast Depp as Batman.. a new Batman would have to be in his early 20s not 50s. But maybe Keaton is too young to be the old Batman. Still WB wont do it not with there current Batman movies in the works. Terence Stamp would make a good Alfred in a live action movie.

Im so looking forward to seeing Dumbo, I dont listen to bad reviews I go see a movie myself to decide if I like it. I love the way Tim's designed Dumbo hes so cute (as distracting here lol). So lovely to see Tim, Michael and Danny together again loved the Batman movies and love Colin and Eva too... so Dumbo cant wait to see u fly and soar on the big screen just hope I dont cry like I did at the original.

I remember when he did an interview in 04/05 and they asked him about the upcoming Batman Begins movie and he gave one of the longest running one sentence answers ever. "My prediction, I don't know anything about it, but I feel this way about it...it's gonna be good, because he's a really good actor [Christian Bale] and that's a really good director [Christopher Nolan] and they've had years and years and years, and hundreds of millions of dollars, or at least tens of millions of dollars to figure it out and I say it's gonna be good. I picture it's gonna be good and also, I swear to God it's not an "I told you so", it's maybe an interesting thing, that when I didn't like the third script . . . I just said "I really don't like this, and I don't want to do it", 'cause what I wanted to do, is what I'm told and I don't know if this is true yet so don't hold me to this until I see it, but I'm told it's more a prequel. And that was what I thought would've been a hip way to go the third time. This guy is so endlessly fascinating potentially, why not go and see how he got there."

Hard to find a recent interview with Eva Green. Nice to see her get some more screen time. I miss Penny Dreadful. She and Burton seem to have fantastic synergy working together. This is like their 3rd project that I know of, in the past couple of years.

The interviews are better than the movie itself. The movie itself is boring as heck, the only good things in it were Eva Green and Danny Devito's performances. These interviews are just more interesting and natural. You could show these interviews as the whole movie and it would have been a better movie
