I wouldnt be surprised if that energy was a result of drugs. Plenty of celebrities do them to escape pressure, and with a mind like his its not that far fetched. Having been someone who worked with those in rehab and NA, they act a lot like how Tim is acting Its a shame too because hes my favroite film director. Almost all of my favorite movies are ones he made and I absolutely adore this movie.

My opinions on this movie -the daughter is really annoying -where is Timothy? -the pink elephants scene could’ve been 100x better -the scenes where dumbo is flying are amazing -there are too many human characters -where are the crows? -Danny devito did really well -the beginning was really slow -the end with dumbo and mrs.jumbo living in the jungle or something felt really cheesy

Thats due to the lighting and filtering needed in order to add a certain atmosphere to the scene. It almost makes them feel fake, and i believe they intended to do that. It makes a bit more sense if you watch the whole movie.

I just watched it in 3d today, it was really good just didn't like the girl she was cold like a wednesday addams but not in a good way. I get it but i was hoping they would bring more energy and excitement for dumbo and the circus. Dumbo was great, the look and cgi was amazing, the elephants were done well.
