Not to be a party pooper this was a great video but I reccomend not leaking your adress. Now that you have shown how the trailer is locked up, that there is a trackers so they just need to look for it and disable it, and where it stays primarly it is a primary target for theft. As well as you have shown near the houses so theifs just need to be on the lookout for those key subjects while searching for your trailer. Again, this is a recommendation no need to take my opinions to heart.

I know you are young but just because you can do it doesn't mean you should do it. I was always told to work smarter not harder, the work will tough enough as it is. Load as many boxes on the back as you can and then jump up in the trailer and move them forward. Great video!

@RollingWithRuss10 ай бұрын
Sweet! I have an equipment tracker from GPS and track out of Arizona. It works really well and there is no subscription, it was about $250 but I like the way it texts and emails me the location at whatever intervals I want.
@user-vw2zt8te9p11 ай бұрын
Ive been following your vids since some of your first. I started mowing lawns last spring as something to do on my days off and put some equipment to use I had for my farm. I ended up buying a one ton dump truck and started pulling a chipper around for a local arborist. I started making more in one day than I was in a month mowing lawns. The truck has allowed me to diversify what I can do and made all the difference as the mowing was so resource intensive given the geography of my area. I did my first junk removal a month ago and have firewood seasoning for delivery next year. I have paid cash for all my equiopment but it's really parts or payments and you only get paid when it's running. One thing that would cause me angst was seeing you get rid of scrap metal. I do have space to keep scrap and it looks like that would be a challenge for you. Sometimes there have been weekends where I will cruise Saturday morning with my son in the truck and pick up scrap and once a month take it in. It's fun and makes some extra cash which I split with him. It's fun time together like in your earlier videos. The junk removal job I did had a bunch of metal roof pieces and old metal office furniture. So I'm getting paid twice for that job once the scrap pile gets big enough. Thanks for vids and best wishes for continued success!
@RollingWithRuss11 ай бұрын
Heck yea, that’s what it’s all about! I love hearing these kinds of stories. It’s funny how you can work hard (such as in mowing) or you can work with equipment and charge more (though of course it takes some money to get going). They don’t always net the same per hour but the more tools you have at your disposal the more options you have to make money. I would love to do scrapping and one day soon we plan to buy a house with land to do more of that kind of thing. Would you ever be interested in doing a video interview with me? If so, send me an email at russ@reesehaulingandcleanup.com

Have you used one of those tools with a magnet attached to pick up nails at the dump or work sites ? If you obtain a metal detector from a job, or buy one that should work as well . What was your decision to use boards instead of plywood on your trailer ? Have you ever advertised in community newsletters ? Happy New Years to you and your family . May 2024 bring you happiness and be bountiful for you . I appreciate all the info that you provide on your vlogs . Thank you 🙏

Yea, the dump I go to actually has guys go around with rolling magnets and pick up nails every so often. I have watched them do it in between loads which is pretty awesome. We have a great dump. As for the boards over plywood, I wanted something that would be stronger than plywood and make for a smoother finish painted so the boards just made sense to me. They have been really durable and I think I’m happy I went that route. Thank you for your support this year - I look forward to more work, videos and so forth next year! Happy New Year!

You are concerned about your welded on tie-downs inside the bed catching on stuff so you had them removed. At 10:07 looking at your trailer I would think you would be more concerned about those long-ass bolts sticking out the side of the wood that you can rip your face off on. You need to cut them off just for safety and sand them down smooth or cover them with silicone or something after you cut them.
