Dump Trailer Frame Repair

I've never thought much about the way they build those dump trailers. They're "engineered".. lol.. engineered to fail! Looks like thinner wall tube, 1/8"?? Should be no less than 1/4" and have a base pad for the cylinder mount.. I've repaired a few.. they caught it before it got that bad. Dealing with trucks, I tend to over build things, better safe than sorry!!! I had to laugh.. when you cut out the mount pieces, dang!! Exactly the same way I do it! Dang Buddy!! That rope was a good fix. I don’t see a problem with it.
