WOW. What an absolute UNIT of a bin! Really not much else to say, this dumpster diving win was enormous, and a lot of exercise. Didn't think I could do it! Worth it!
Wire stripper I use: amzn.to/3sirg18
The motorized stripper: amzn.to/3y0JMuQ
The wire cutters I like: amzn.to/2T6j3OW
The grips I recommend: amzn.to/2QCJmYl
The melting furnace: amzn.to/3EGxT2q
(If you make a purchase on amazon through the links above, a small amount of what amazon makes on the sale is shared with me. It's a great way to help support my channel, at no additional cost to you. Even if you buy something other than my tool recommendations!)

Why I love Thub: Drops metal and comments on the real fire danger of sparking--moments later cuts metal with sparks directed straight onto a wooden pallet. 😂😅🤣🤩

You worked hard for that one! Betcha glad you ate your Wheaties! 💪🏼🤣 Question #1: Since by law the refrigerant must be removed, is it then reused, recycled or how is it safely disposed off? #2: If it has value why don’t HVAC, appliance repair shops or the scrap yards offer free refrigerant recovery? God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇨🇦✌🏼😎

My dad used to have a 95 s10 2 wheel drive pickup with a 5 speed. I saw that truck squatting every week from scrapping. He went through 3 sets of leaf springs and shock absorbers. We scrapped that truck in 2009. I have a 2000 f150 and I get it plum full of short iron almost weekly and its totally daylight and dark compared to the old s10. I can get it loaded to the point I cant fit any more and it's barely squatting. Ofcourse it has a lift with much stronger springs and shocks but it's just insane how much times have changed. That little s10 had some very heavy loads on it pulling a 16' trailer with 3 cars smashed on it.

Great video, I wish you had help on something like that. The heavy stuff looked like the legs for a platform. It looked like 1 or 2 were even bent. Imagine what it would of took to bend them…. I scraped for many years in the 70’s with my Dad…… we hardly ever left anything behind…. You have to develop a technique….. Bravo for you👍👍👍👍👍

I'm really not surprised that you found a bunch of metal in the trash behind the engineering school building, didn't expect the giant black pipes to be there though. There are quite a few other dumpsters on the university campus that especially with some of the construction projects going on right now before the school starts again. I don't know how many of them you would deem to be on private property and need to stay out of though but I think most would at least have a little bit a metal inside.

Man, them knees are going to feel that one day. Dropping out of those dumpsters is going to take it's toll. Climb down my dude! On another note, if at all possible cut those copper aluminum radiators on the outside of the steel. The ends drop off and the steel peels away much easier than trying to wiggle the ends out of it afterwards.

Mike the scavenger used to say, you got to be strong in this world! He is correct. I quit watching scrappers that would bypass the heavy items because they were lazy. We would love to hit the motherload and when we see those on here hit it and not get it, we really lose respect for them. If you hit it and not get it, it's best just not to film it.
