Do they all form branches like that? And under normal circumstances how fast can they grow?
@mckjohn6544 жыл бұрын
Mine grow pretty fast like 3-4 heads every 5-6 months but Ofc it depends on the coral and how much food they get

I had a Duncan of 2 heads for like 2 or 3 months already he is getting medium flow but in 3 months hasn't grown at all look healthy but I just don't know why it won't grow could it be because I have my nitrates a little high
@bnosam4 жыл бұрын
Mine started growing crazy fast when I started neglecting my tank and let nitrates get higher. It started off with 3 heads then now it has 7 in less than 3 months.

Interresting note about the blenny. I have a bicolor blenny but he prefers nipping at my starfish rather than eating any of my duncan!

Thanks for the video. Mine died for some reason after looking super happy. Think it was cause the head was cut in half and it just infected the whole colony slowly all died. Hope to try it again at one point.

I really like them because they can be fed, they grab food really easily. I just take a tweezer and give some mysis and some other frozen food. Bi-color blennies are suppose to be reef safe. Make sure you have enough algae in the tank for blennies else they will look at other things for food. You have a tang so it may not have enough food competing against the tang.
@jaredtandle25962 жыл бұрын
Yeah I just dump frozen foods in and sometimes mine gets a big meal, other times it don't get anything. Definitely easy.. my crab kept knocking it down and it was closed up for a long time. (probably about a month) I am bringing it back now and it seems to be happy, we'll see.
