I’m a year late, but congrats on the doctorate Monty! I’m a bit frustrated with something in this episode. There are a few instances where Monty “punishes” the players for not knowing something that their characters would know. The first instance is with the wording of the duel: “biggest” trophy vs “greatest” trophy. The players don’t remember the exact wording of the deal because they didn’t know before this moment that the wording was important. But Pluto and Sebastian would have known the wording was important and would have made a point to remember it. The second instance is when River says that the Silver Order wanting to execute Sebastian is a violation of the edicts of Lumen. Again, the players didn’t know that until River said it, but the characters should know that. And if they had known it, they might have brought it up during the negotiations with the Silver Order. Despite this, still a great show! I wanted to get the complaint off my chest but it doesn’t override all the good about the show.

Seriously, my rejection issues are tingling lol. I don't know why they didn't think that crazy offer through more. I was shocked at how quickly they agreed to throw the Amethyst Academy under the bus (err, sorry, Carriage) to the insufferable Silver Order especially considering their second personalities are going to be pisssed when they find out. Granted I don't know what I would have done because they're kind of under their thumb this far in.
