In all seriousness I love how this brings up games that get minimal attention at times compared to the other major you tubers and news sites that basically state the mainstream games over and over. I’ve discovered so many uniques and styles of play because of this channel. For such a comedic channel, it’s very deep and deeply introspective with such levity. Keep it goin in 2019 Dunk!

If you like that you should check out gameinformer's youtube channel. While they obviously cover major titles, the podcast has a distinctly small town and personal feel to it. Like you are getting together with your buddies and just talking about what you have enjoyed the most recently. They cover a lot of the smaller titles big time.

Tchitchouan Inouane As much as a Touhou fan I am, no. The story of Touhou for each game doesn’t connect to related to each other well (Except ULiL -> LoLK). Altho we can give out the difficulty and the song. Touhou goodness is not really about the story, it is about the lore which requires deep inspection. I don’t think Dunkey can handle too much weeb in the game :/. You need play it and then look into the world and the lore of the franchise itself after to appriciate the game itself

I can't put into words what an experience ZeroRanger is, truly an incredible one, it cannot be talked about without ruining it, you HAVE to play it, even if scroll shooters or bullet hells aren't your type. I also thank Dinky from the bottom of my heart, this game has left a mark in my mind that won't come off ever. @K Zoo me watching my retarded brother play: Twenty minutes of random shooting and hoping to land a bullet. Bullet doesn't land. You have to move the screen instantly and drastically. Technically you memorize steps and can play the game with eyes closed. Building height concludes and its about who shoots the shotgun first. He literally wasted twenty minutes of his life building virtual walls to have his head gunned down. Game's a weird flex of minecraft and PUBG, but ok.

I’ve been replaying Tropical Freeze lately and I’ve realized just how amazing it really is. The level design, the visuals, THE MUSIC, and the amount of passion that Retro put into it really shines through. I definitely recommend everyone play it it’s one of the best platformers ever. Over 1-4 the climbing evolved at least and it remained interesting. Naughty Dog even ripped on themselves with fourth wall breaks about it and stuff like Nathan making comments about climbing starting in Uncharted 2. I don't care what anyone says, the story alone sold me on it being one of the best games and overall series I'll probably ever play. There was a massive hole in my soul when I finished it. Lost Legacy even helped to fill that hole a bit. I really hope the series returns and doesn't suck.

Zeroranger definitely deserves its spot on the list, before dunkey mentioned it, i never even heard of the game, ive seen nobody talk about it at all. I decided to buy it, and hands down this has become one of my favorite games, its heartbreaking to know that it sits there at the bottom of steams store, its a legend up there with shovelknight, hollow knight, and even undertale, help this game get the attention it deserves people.

@@Davenzoid The art, and music are great. But as you play you see that the story is surprisingly very interesting with themes inspired by Buddhism. Gameplay is also accessible and challenging, as the game eggs you on to learn how to use different weapons and trying new combinations. It's hard to say why it's so great without spoiling anything, I'd recommend checking out the demo.
