Very posh village, and much bigger than I remember in the 1980s. I suppose the weather kept people away

Well done once more Don! Another picturesque town, and the thatched cottages are magnificent. Clouds definitely add beauty to the photography, and here the foggy harbor adds mystery to the scene and the colorful boats. The poem by John O’Connor to memorialize those lost at sea is just beautiful, and could encompass the approximately 100,000 famine Irish who died of typhus fever while fleeing from the famine. The north Atlantic became their grave. 😢☘️😢

Thanks Elizabeth. Much appreciated. The potato famine was beyond tragic. Over a million people died. 😢

Don,that is wonderful weather, here in greece its the hell, hot, sunny every day, aircon on and fans,we will sell up in a couple of years and move our bums over your way,not much money but hope to find a small house, and we have no rain in this county of Attica.thankyou

Absolutely! Same here in California….stuck in air conditioning…every year hotter than before…constant fires burning throughout the state with resulting poor air quality! And I live at 4000’ elevation! We are ground zero for climate change but millions in America think it’s fake news!! My dream is to move back to my beloved homeland. However, I have 2 older pets so it would have to be after their time and I’m a senior. I’m holding on to my dream!☘️🙏☘️

I am the same as you. I love the architecture of churches but I am not religious. I'm from a Catholic background but I'm an atheist.
