I’m going to say something that we all already know: makeup brands can only come up with so many different color combinations, especially at the rate that they’re coming out with palettes these days. Of course, there will always be some color stories that are unique, but we spend so much money on the same thing over and over and over again and don’t seem to mind. 😅 There’s a reason why we’re drawn to certain “new” color stories-it’s because we already have them a million times over. I don’t know about you, but I always feel like a sucker, when I buy a new palette only to realize it’s nearly identical to my other palettes 😩😂

I agree. The Juicy pallette does not get my attention at all. I have all those colors in my Colourpop pallettes. By the way, after depotting my Colourpop pallettes it is kind of frustrating realizing that the most of the colors are repeated but with different names.

Love your hair! That darker brown suits you and makes your skin look flawless! Now on to the unpopular opinion: I really like the Tarte Juicy palette. Something about the formula really works well on my skin, and I don't have any of the ones you compared it to. I do have a lot of Colourpop palettes, so I probably have the entire thing several times over across my palette hoard, but I do enjoy the formula, as well as the light fragrance.

I have the tarlette palette and LOVE it. Even if I own CT and Huda and many other palettes that have those colors. It’s worth it in my opinion. And for me personally, the shadows are easier to work with than Charlotte’s.

I love the Tarte Juicy palette. Not groundbreaking by any means but a good, solid palette full of colors I enjoy. Totally agree about the mascara. I may try the MG. I’ve been loving the Maybelline Sky High. Didn’t enjoy it the first couple of times but love it now. I was tempted on the Tarte blush so thanks for the heads up on that!

Nice job! I found so many palettes in my collection that are close enough to this palette that I'm not justified to spend $45 on it. Among the palettes I found in my collection were: Laura Geller, Nude Attitude Laura Geller, Iconic New York Collection Makeup Obsession, Be In Love With Makeup Obsession, Love is My Drug Colour Pop, Give It To Me Straight And there's probably more if I looked harder. Not all of them have all of the shades in one palette but enough or if you so desire, you could use two palettes. I do this frequently. Anyway, thanks so much for nudging me to check my collection before whipping out my credit card. I need to do more of that! 😁❤

I’m a sheer foundation person but I can use both versions of the huda. I use a tiny amount dabbed around my face and massage in with my fingers, sort of like the mac face and body and it’s so skin-like.

The makeup geek mascara looked way nicer than the Benefit. Thankfully I don't need much for either brows or lashes so I will never spend a lot on products for either. Thanks for the vid though! I gotta say I'm enjoying the general reduction of releases so we're all getting a chance to focus on the products a little more. I really want to make a Milani order but who knows when I'll have the space or budget for it. Right now I'm saving for the Temptalia palettes, so everything else is on pause for the most part.

I was REALLY disappointed in that mascara, too! It weighed down my lashes and smudged really badly on me. I have a natural curl to my lashes and this mascara totally killed that! I’ve been pondering the make up geek one and you convinced me to order it!

I've been thinking of getting the colourpop bare necessities, blush crush, and coast to coral palettes which I know they are not new but they are just my tones that I love! I thought maybe the tarte palette would be all of my tones in one palette but I haven't been convinced lol....I don't think it has the more peach tones that I love in spring and summer. I always tell you this but again, I love that you talk about doll 10! I love their hydrogel foundation but I have started to love bb and cc creams so now im tempted to try the other doll 10 foundation. I also just wanted to say your hair looks so beautiful! Not that it doesn't always lol but it looks so shiny and healthy! I am having hair loss issues right now so maybe I just notice hair more these days.
