Alright I got one for you. 02 LB-7 right around 150k injectors we’re recently replaced but it sat for a while. Check engine light came on so I got her inspected and it’s low fuel pressure codes and my balances on Cylinder 1 is 4.6 and Cylinder 6 is 3.5. The truck runs totally fine no smoke feels to have plenty of power and isn’t choppy at all. I am a hot shotter so she runs a lot under load and I have run it roughly 6-10k since having the inspection and the check engine light went away and hasn’t come back since. Do I just keep running it until she shows signs? Or get the replaced ASAP?

If you have a calculate fuel rate of 10mm3 do you still minus -2 or add 2 to the balance rate

What’s ur take on LDS 45 now today with all the hate , reviews on these lb7 forums . Best prices around with 45 -65 overs . Is it a scam To get ya ? Or they legit . They said they were the number one go to place for them cuz they sold s&s but they make there own on now so wanted to hear your take?

I’ve never used them. I have suppliers for all my parts I get. But usually if they are cheap there is a reason.

Over sized injectors! If a stock injector can do 450 hp then why do people go oversized on injectors unless they have built an engine to do over 500hp? As a driver if I were to put injectors over what would I expect at the gas pedal if the tune was set low? What it seams is there’s no reason to go over but there has to be and I just don’t know

You can get that out of stock injectors but the bigger ones will make the power easier. With less timing and pulse width. Less strain on the fuel system to make the power

@@screamindieselltd We just did our research on this and spoke with the men at Duramax Tuner and they said that the engine will actually perform less than desired with oversized injectors unless you’re going above 550hp. The stock injectors are capable of making it perform correctly even at much higher hp which is the reason that Chevrolet put them on there

What I wrote is what I’ve been told in the past from research. If calibrated says otherwise I would side with them. They are great tuners and have been making clean power for a lot of years. I stand corrected. Good on you for reaching out them and correcting me without being a d*ck about it lol. Everyone can learn something new.

@@screamindieselltd Here’s what I’m looking for. I restored my entire truck including a new motor and transmission. I’m happy with my work however the Duramax is a slug off the line. In other words even with my Duramax tuner from calibrated power it’s slow to reach 30mph. Now once it’s hits 30mph that truck is insanely fast but I don’t care to have the hard pull at that speed. I want to find someone that has figured this out so we can get the truck to launch off the line for 0-50mph
