Man, I am loving almost all of the dub performances here. Especially Dotachin's, Izaya's and Shizuo's. Shinra's and Celty's are plenty good, too. And I get the feeling the others will grow on me, even if it's just a little.

It's not as bad as other dubs I've heard!! I like Celty's voice and Shinra's voice is pretty cool and Shizuo's is okay. I think they should've translated Shizu-chan to something else though. It sounds kind of awkward xD

Mikado is just as annoying and pre-pubescent as he was in Japan. The only reason people are complaining is probably because he doesn't sound as cute in this language.

Crispin Freeman was made to dub Shizou. I don't think they could've found a better suited actor over here for the part. He and Johnny Yong Bosch (Izaya) knocked it out the park with this dub!

The biggest problem with this dub is that the voice actors don't mirror the atmosphere of ikebukuro and the events going on. The JP voice actors all had subtleties that felt intriguing and mysterious.
