This video was produced at zero cost. Because that is exactly what I am able to afford at the moment. So, I would like to double-thank to Gepke and Jaap from "Première Parterre" (Den Haag) for their hospitality. And for stealing couple days of his life, a huge thanks to SavaSound - Efcharistó fíle..! And Quadri-Thank-You all for listening!

Awesome! The most incredible thing though, is that you apparently have 4 pairs of Adidas.

Apparently, I will send you a picture of sole of 2 pairs. You DON'T wanna go out (especially in Holland) in these 2. One of them, I still use for racing. It slides nicely on the throttle pedal = I have a good sense of dosage. ;-) Buuuuuut, becomes handy to keep them for such an "extreme" occasions. Yesterday, I tagged "ADIDAS SKATEBOARDING" on Instagram. I am expecting a big sponsorship contract... you know. :)

@@emileheilbron9707 Well.... When I entered first time that building, there were 8... or 9... or 10 piano teachers?? (And actually, some "healthy" competition) Today... I heard there are 3? .... So some mathematical logic would tell me that probably in another 3 or 4 years, they may be 0 (zero) piano teachers...? (bad joke, I know) And I have to disappoint you. Coming back there seems to be a dimension far, far away from me. But you might pay the visit to Den Haag / Delft (where I still produce some music time to time). It's not thaat far away. Will let you know once there is something "worthy"... Have a contact still somewhere in my address book. Cheers!

No, byla to sranda. No, nakonec jsme to nějak dotočili.

very cool idea! how did you organize the recording? did you play with metronome? or did you play one of the parts and then the others?
Thanks. I will try to explain briefly. No metronome used. I did not want to sound like midi-machine. There are other versions of this piece here on KZbin (mostly 1st mov only) made by other people and it is obvious they recorded it with a click in their ears. Not here. I had a "plan" how I wanted to do it. Of course, finally it was way more complicated than I was thinking. The goal was to record the "leading voice" always first. Simple enough. My friend Savas who is super-pro sound engineer helped me with this. He is more in punk-pop scene and cant read music sheets... But I think he learned in "no time" and understood what's going on in the partiture. And I have quite an experience with DJing (techno, drum&bass etc.) - like 20 years ago, I used to DJ a lot. So.... day 1 - audio recording. I had headphones like a DJ only on 1 ear. And I started with leading voice... and then I was telling to Savas "I wanna this and this in the headphones and we record this and this place".... So - he was recording / editing the short cuts right on the fly.... Finally, it was (he told me) around 250 short cuts glued together.... Quite a job. But we managed in 1 day. We started in the morning, and around 6PM, the lady of the house came to the room quite angry, shouting at me "Dušan, what were you thinking? How long is this gonna take" ..... (Well... they were listening for the whole day fragments, round and round... no surprise they got angry. Anyway, she gave me "1 more hour to go"... so the end of 3rd movement, I felt quite bad. But we managed eventually, luckily. ... Day 2 - a week after. Audio was already mixed and we did video only. There are speakers in the room behind the camera, and complete-mixed audio was playing from speakers, and I just recorded "1 take" video shots.... "Playback" they call it. Which was just a FUN. :) And later in the evening, Savas learned how to "glue" 4 videos together and we edited the video. All my idea, but without his help, I would never manage. So... hopefully understandable. :) Cheers!
