Games like that last Rakdos match feel like good balanced Magic. If I feel like it is close and I got to make some decisions, I have 0 problem losing.

This draft seemed to highlight that gruul decks need good removal to keep smashing through damage. Especially noticeable if the Ride removes multiple creatures and completely opens up attacks

yes, in that aspect I wonder how good can be Trial of agony (1 red 5 damage to a crature + another can't block). Also combat tricks...

Rooms and the truth. I had the blue rare room that says unlock 8 rooms and you win and actually pulled it off! And it wasn't win more, I was at 2 barely holding on 😅

Casting Rollercrusher Ride would've won that last game. Doubling Shattered Yard is very good for inevitability, and it's what I would have done for that reason - it seemed safer to me than hoping they couldn't deal with the creature pressure - but I see your logic too, so I'm not sure what the correct play was.

I had a deck with altan and 4 say its name, only managed to get it off once. the third and fourth say its name kept ending up in the bottom 8 cards

Shuffler’s spicy this update. I’ve done five drafts and in every single one I’ve had a game where I drew literally 5-7 lands in a row and lost when all I needed was to close the game out. I wish someone would take a serious look at the numbers because it’s been happening to lots of people, streamers have noticed it too

@@jeandouyeth6682 at that point you're putting in way too many cards that don't affect the board I think it's honestly just a case of run 3 and it's nice when you get it

I mean, that's not that unlikely, unless you mean that you played 4+ games where you got to your last 8 cards and hadn't found a 3rd Say Its Name. The likelihood that you'll have it when you're halfway through your deck is only 30%.

@@RasmusVJS I'm saying through an entire draft play, I went 4 and 3. So 7 games where I only got it off once. despite almost decking myself in each game.

I tend be low on Red/think it's the weakest colour in Duskmourn but it can work
