I got this and the AC version both are great Being a Ecoflow fan this is steps above all of the smaller units. The power output and the multiple C ports are great. The new ecoflow river 3 only has one C output. I really was expecting it to be like Anker

Unfortunately that is commonly the case, which I don't really understand considering that so often these are used (or solar charged) outdoors.

Just bought one. Very happy with it, except I wish the pop up light was a lower Kelvin, it's somewhere around 4500-5000K. I think for camping a more yellow tint is better.

I think the next major breakthrough needs to be in battery technology. Being able to store more energy without additional size and weight is key.

I ordered and received 2 C300 AC and 1 C300 DC (still on route). Also ordered many 240w usb c ugrean cables to take full advantage of the charge speed. These devices are awesome! I have a couple of anker portable power banks and the c300 solix AC can output 130w-140w to recharge those on the go. There is a UPS function for the AC version that I see in the manual but it doesn't have much info. I'm going to play around with that sometime soon. Edit: I'm in Canada and there are large discounts (coupons) when purchasing from Amazon.

For sure, such great value. A good 140w charger alone would already cost you minimum 80$ per charger. For 180-190$ you get 2 140w charger, extremely fast AC input, 90k mah battery n 300w AC outlet is insane pricing. And honestly I was just about to buy Anker 250w powerbank to runs in the office. I'll gladly take this over them any day. much cheaper overall and significantly better performance.

I saw the price listed in this video . Seemed odd . Really high price . $170 DC $210 AC . When i looked them up , then figured you must be in a different country . Really good review .

Solar input voltage on the 300DC may NOT exceed 28V (not 32V as stated). Exceeding 28V may cause damage to the unit.

I like this but I have a question. I use an old laptop remotely away from any other power sources for up to 10 hours at a time. Will this unit do the same as my Jackery 250 using the cigarette lighter port I am currently using. I am looking for something smaller and lighter to carry, that will do the same as my Jackery and it must have a cigarette lighter port. Will this Anker unit do the same, as my Laptop runs at approx 21w. Many thanks.

This does have the cigarette lighter port, so there's no reason that it shouldn't.

Hi All. I could use some guidance. I'm not familiar with these devices. I live in Asheville. We had our power restored yesterday. I spent a week juggling 3 bricks that are designed to jump a car battery and a 2, 000 mah charger. I recharged most of them by driving around wasting precious gas. The bricks only worked through USB A. Would something like this power 2-3 phones for a week or is there a better solution. We'll be looking at a larger generator for things like the freezer and fridge in a week or two. Thanks for any input.

I just came from an EcoFlow river 3 video . Only 1 usb-c ?? Seriously ? Literally everything i charge up goes through usb-c . Let me check , it is the year 2024 ? They even reduced the capacity of the River 3 to 245wh … there series list shows 256wh but when you click the listing and go into details it is actually 245wh . Odd . At least with Anker you actually get usb-c outlets with 288wh capacity and built in emergency/camp light .

Not just outlets, it's multiple 140w outlets. Just charging bricks for 140w alone cost sooo much. Ecoflow might goes down under soon. I'm so mad that in my country you could only buy ecoflow and not this. Won't be buying ecoflow nonetheless. I mean the sell at the same price... Ecoflow shouldn't even cost half of this. 😅

​@@hiepnxAnker c300 for sure, it has 2 140w USB c, AC, 5yr warranty instead of 2yr. Lower noise, so many more advantage. Personally I trusted Anker more with charging and battery technology. Ecoflow guys are from DJI drone company and fairly young. Anker just got better technology and more experience, and things would get better and better. Their software and ecosystem are already established. Ecoflow might not have new customer coming in soon in the future too. Anker basically going to get all the first time buyers hooked. I'm not sure about any product above 500wh since I won't ever be in need of those. Entry ones is more than enough for me. Just wished that ankers goes bonkers and pushed AC input charging time to be under 30-40min full charged 😂

I have never heard a fan come on. I suspect it is more of a passive cooling design, which they can get away with because there is no inverter.

I haven't tested the AC version, but I do like the dome light and compact size of the DC version (but I also have a half dozen AC power stations already)

You won't do any heavy lifting with the AC output. Charge a laptop that has a brick, etc. Put the money instead towards a larger unit for AC needs. I say 1000wh or so minimum. I have an Anker C1000, I consider that bare minimum for bothering with AC and am considering its expansion battery down the road. I'd feel just a little more breathing room with twice the capacity. And an inverter that runs 1800watts bare minimum. You gotta power those microwaves and Instant Pot cookers. The earbuds, phones, etc. all get sent to the C300DC. That was my main purpose for it, with that capacity you should generally be able to keep it topped off just charging gadgets, thus making your phone and gadgets grid-independent. Obviously might need more units, depends on the size of your tribe.

@@byerenny you're right, I'm glad I got the DC rather than the AC. I just bought a new fan Shark Freeze thing, even that use 12V car charger when I need. The only thing I can think of using is my router/modem when the electric goes out, but I can find a USB-C to DC output that should solve the issue. Most modem/router are using DC connectors.
