HOI4 North Korea: The Hardest Nation in Hearts of Iron 4

Today we play the most difficult nation ever in hearts of iron 4 and lead the Korean people to victory. this was one of the hardest videos ive ever done in hoi4 and took several weeks to actually record the gameplay used in this hoi 4 video for a very hard win.

(havent seen whole video yet) can you success at doing a stalemate? (since supply is an issue, unless you can build NK supply lines directly using all your factories😅, what are the odds your division don't lose all their eq too fast? The only time I did it, before supply update, I had to use a god mod cheat engine table to do it. (just staying in place because NK tries to go too far too fast, so no supply but no win too, so only a possible lose after more UN countries volunteers)

I love that mod! Never played NK yet, supply is so bad, before the supply update, I wondered if it was any good helping NK till stalemate (or win) , as just keeping divisions in would lose supply so quickly (and almost no airbase spot) Can there even be an encircling on the north part? (to cut whole supply line and go for capital quickly) since you need naval support to do it. (and unless Us&China joins war directly, no naval superiority for volunteers)

best way ive found is to literally make a ton of line filler infantry divisions and rush south as fast as possible. CAS is what helped me a ton on this one

@@dustinl796 the trouble I had (as sov/Prc helping) was when either do the NK help focus (giving jet, land weapons, support eq) , all airbase slots are taken by nk bad jets (and some airbase are just too far, unless I cheat the air range with sandbox mod) , and despite leasing fuel, they never use those but still take the spot😭 so UN forces use more air than me. (it doesn't do the winning but still help grind my divisions supply and the whole supply lines, even if my divisions had antiair to help a little)

Uniting Korea is actually easy because you have so much command power you can just sit in a trench and spam last stand. That's what I did in my game and I managed to kill 2.7 million South Korean and UN troops while only losing around 100k troops.

@@dustinl796 for Ukraine, it lacks a submod (or a decision the player can activate or not, giving weapons to Ukraine from Nato countries stockpile - even to the point where they get into negative values 😂 and take decade to rebuild stockpiles) to give weapons to Ukraine (for the 2014 war starting in 2008 most of the time) so eventually just a tag ukr and give weapons eq console command 9 999 999 999 to simulate the collective west giving weapons (not that it helps😂 at first, Ukraine keeps all divisions to borders with Russia and Belarus despite being invaded deep into it, then it finally moves its divisions to counterattack)

Lol 4 hours is nothing : try playing millenium dawn or that mod as an economic simulator for a week - since unlike vanilla, you build so slowly and produces weapons so slowly too, even more if you upgrade weapons- (if there isn't too many crash) and sometime, a wargame sending volunteers😂 (and no, you can't borrow IMF unlimited funds as they demand drastic reforms, not all which are good, plus maybe cold war got a debt thing like MD, meaning a great malus to construction&weapons building etc the more debt you take, even if in positive, because it is related to your debt to gdp ratio - meaning in the mod, current US or Japan debt would crush the country, even with positive budget income)

@@dustinl796 yes, really slow, the Afghanistan War barely happens (civil war, some Nato countries support), Iraq war is boring (but easy if you succeed at retaking&protecting the port, then you just grind Nato manpower while either Iraq & Nato never ceasefire and Nato stop attack at some point due to boredom) , Syrian civil war doesn't happen unless you start in 2016 (I think), 2014 Ukraine war/civil war start so fast (and either you play Russia and help either win or stalemate for some month before winning (the time to build logistic😂) either the new republic gets crushed so fast) I only tried nuclear system, pretty fun (but AI can't seem to use it at all, too complicated ballistic missiles, warhead, finding the targeted state, firing a Salvo etc)
