Honestly listening to Dutch talk about stuff is brilliant. In my opinion he has a very cool well rounded well developed, wise personality. Also I very much appreciated the Big Foot info being an 80s kid in England 👍

Dutch is an amazing conversationalist. He's always fair, funny, not a know-it-all but very knowledgeable, and most of all he respects fans and non-insiders and listens to his young interlocutor like an equal. To render all these coexistent is quite an achievement. (You like that word, "coexistent"?)

There have actually been 16 Bigfoot trucks over the years. Only 3 or 4 of them are active and touring right now. Most of the older trucks have either been retired, sold off, or in one case, lost in a customs battle. The original is largely a display truck that rarely leaves the shop in Missouri and Bigfoot 5 is permanently on display outside the shop and is rarely taken off the property due to how difficult it is to transport it.

I love that he talked about Cornette falling off the scaffold. Poor Big Bubba Ray Trailer felt bad for years that he could not see up there to catch Cornette..i asked Ray in the back of The Phila. Spectrum one night about this and he said when he looked up the lights were blinding him and he missed catching Jim completely. I remember seeing that match and knew Cornette was going to break something when he hit the mat.if you listen real carerfully at the end of the match you can hear Jim screaming Jesus Christ I broke my leg.

5:38 When Jim Cornette talked about how he threatened to shoot Brock Lesnar in OVW for saying F-U to his then-girlfriend (now wife) Stacey, he even said to Brock that he'd probably get shot if he pissed off somebody bad enough if he was at an Outlaw Show or an Independent Show or a Mudshow because thost's how stress it is to work in the wrestling business.

Dutch: "Why would they agree to do that?" Simple answer: They lack any in ring skill, or looks, or promo skill, or charisma. That's why the only way they can have a shot at being over is by self mutilting and things of the sort. "But Mick Foley!" Using Mick Foley to defend those things is like using the Undertaker to defend silly Vince McMahon cartoon gimmicks. There are always exceptions.

Mud shows aren't actual wrestling, the whole point is to make it look realistic and make it look like it hurt without getting hurt, that's what makes it an art form, of course people like Mick Foley are an exception

"Last few years." Outlaw is as old as the territory system, and mud show is an event in Texas, a trashy music event, that hasn't been around as long but is still a little older than a few years. Is this guy from another country or something? If you're a South African or New Zealander, fine.
