That's because Jim is a democrat..he can get away with it. If a Christian or conservative would speak this way it would be labeled as insensitive and HATE speech. It's a double standard man in today's politically correct society.

Jim can get away with it because he is older and it's sort of his gimmick. In real life, you will get people who will nod to your face and talk sh** behind your back getting you fired from your job, uninvited to social gatherings, and in general negative consequences just for having an opinion. It sucks but it's true. Most people can't just shrug it off.

I met Jim at the Knox central Gym, in Barbourville Ky, Smokey mountain was doing a fund raiser for our foot ball team, and we helped them set up some, not much they had guys, but we set up chairs and stuff just shit you needed a bunch of hands for. But he was a good guy behind the scenes obviously he is slightly different on TV but not much though he is just Jim Cornet minus a Tennis rack! He said son loose that baby fat, and come see me when you graduate, you got the look and size just got to want to do it! I said man their is no way I could perform in front t of people, he said “WHAT” don’t you play football in front of a crowd and wrestle already? I said well yes, he said man it’s no different. He bought us pizza and after we was all set up and just killing time he talked to us for a while actually.

Tough guys will always give it a try. Especially when alcohol is involved. I had to lay out my fair share of tough guys in bars in my youth because I'm a big guy(6'3" 250 lbs not fat but not Lex Luger either) and was a soldier. Luckily I was able to avoid most though. Those types always want to get their "I kicked 'insert whatever's ass, so don't mess with me" story to tell.

@@kennyhouser3467 Yeah knew a guy like that. He punched the wrong guy and beat that guy up. That guy a week later got some of his friends they kidnapped that guy and beat him till he looked like an alien. It was my friends dad. My friend said he was supposed to show up and get some licks in but when he got there he said the guy was beaten so badly he just couldnt bring himself to do it. The guy that got kidnapled and beat on had a habit of beating ppl half to death for literally nothing at the bar..... I remember she would wait till security would get in front of her before she would start trying to get at em HAHAHA. She had the short blonde 80's hair she was old and I remember telling one of the commentators "She's like a dog chasing a car.... Wouldn't know what to do with it if she caught em".... That's one good thing about the business changing. You don't really get insane fans who take the bad guy/good guy shit so seriously as to run into people wanting to cause you bodily harm, at least not as much anyway. I'd be terrified to be a wrestling manager of a super huge heel group in the territories because of this sorta shit happening, folks hounding me and calling their family to come kick my ass and whatnot. I'd mostly just be tired of it being a thing moreso than what happens.

Out of all the quick wit I have heard from Jim Cornette for some reason when he was asked about if there was a car he loved to much to damage and he replied with a yes but threw in a BUT I'm always a nervous wreck so never say never I lost it. One of my favorite lines was about how if his brain was powered by intelligence he couldn't circle a rain drop on a fleas motorcycle. But for some reason just him simply saying he loved a car to much to damage but I'm always a nervous wreck in enclosed places I got more enjoyment then the flea-raindrop bit. I think because he is so funny the one liners are good and all but they took previous thought to come up with but when he gets going and on a tangent and is talking normal vocabulary I thought to myself this poor guy is a nervous wreck all day. lol. So in my mind I had this picture of Jim in a black car being a nervous wreck that he didn't want to damage but would get so upset and nervous as a scared cat he would just floor it into somebody. LMAO.

And I thought stories of angry football fans telling getting in the grill of the player who cost them a football game was rough stuff. I know if I saw Jim Cornette or any heel wrestler of any nationality, I would keep my distance since I was entertained by a wrestler who usually is the butt of jokes on the news media during the 1980s since pro wrestling fans are considered "dumb" for believing that the ring action is legit.

My brother met Jim Cornette when he was working at a convenience store. The store was just off the interstate a little north of Charlotte, NC and the wrestlers would sometimes meet up there. Cornette and Stan Lane came in and the other guy working started talking shit and tried to set up a match between my brother, who is 6'2" and weighed about 215 at the time, and Stan Lane. My brother had also recently had knee surgery and said he didn't need to tear his knees up anymore. Cornette said, "Don't worry, he'll leave your knees alone and tear everything else up."

I try to be respectful if I see a famous wrestler or manager out in public. Like if they're eating, I don't interrupt their meal. Most are more than happy to sign an autograph and take a picture if you're respectful about it. Years ago, I had the honor of meeting Edge and Lita out at a restaurant when they were having a show in my hometown. At the time, Edge was a major heel and asshole on TV but he and Lita were as nice as they could be. I've been a big fan of Edge for years so I kinda marked out. Both of them signed an autograph and took a picture with me. I got to meet Chavo Guerrero as well and he was cool. I found out that the wrestlers who play heels tend to be the nicest in person. Edge and Lita had a lot of heat at the time because the thing with Matt Hardy was still pretty recent. But Edge was cool as hell and even chatted with me a few minutes. I happened to have on my Rated R Superstar shirt. He was nothing at all like the dick he played on TV and seemed humble. I still have the autographs and picture. That was an awesome moment for me. Meeting Jim Cornette would be awesome. Bottom line, be respectful and courteous. That'll get you a long way with famous wrestlers. You can usually tell by looking if they don't want to be bothered. I imagine even they get sick of all that attention everywhere they go. They're people too.
