Double bass pedal with two bass drums?
@plasticapple7047 жыл бұрын
It looks cool?
@Jarhead13136 жыл бұрын
I do the same thing ,It gets old being O.C.D and having to tune 2 kick drums to get the sound you want so I have my DDrum Quicksilver direct drive double pedal for my right kick and have an Iron Cobra single pedal on my left kick for when I want to add a crunchy note to a song that only a chain drive pedal can accomplish. But the beaters that came with the Quicksilver double pedal are a little on the soft side...but I'm loving the DW square wood!!!

Thank you for the comparison video. With headphones I have to say there is not enough of a difference between the sound of each beater(except for the fluffy beater lol) to make a difference. I would go with the original two way beater on the plastic side. I think they got it right from the beginning.

So basically this video tells me that outside of the DW wool beater, you are just spending varying amounts of money for the look of the beater you like best.
@HolyDiver14 жыл бұрын
Well one thing to note, which this video does not cover, is that the beaters will also feel different from one another. But that can't really be conveyed in a video; you have to actually try them in person.

I always hat the feeling, that my decision on beaters changed the roomsound way more, than the sound recorded by mics. I guess the reason for this is the position of the microfon.

Through my decent headphones, I preferred the way the wood sounded, no matter the beater. The wood and plastic Remo pad sound the best, combination wise imho.

Hi this video is awesome but i have one question.Why you have double pedal and two bass drums ? Thanks for answer.
@crissrosales77363 жыл бұрын
When recording you typically want to use a double pedal. I believe it's because if you use two bass drums you may have inconsistencies in the sounds. Even when tuned as close as possible, it's difficult to match the exact same pitch/tone etc.
@Southboundpachyderm Жыл бұрын
I’m more impressed by how fucking clean your strokes are even in fucking boots. So funny how personal as drummers we are about the footwear we like when we play! I can’t stand wearing shoes when I play cause I feel like it kills my ability to feel the pedal when I do heel toe, but I’ve always liked the bounce you get from the rubber soul of a shoe which helps just overpower the pedal and give you those little bursts of speed when you need em. But I also cannot stand playing bare foot cause my big ass feet feel like they start to stick to the pedal So I wear those funny grey grippy hospital socks when I play and it gives me the perfect feeling even if I fucking hate the stupid toe seam in the socks lol.

wieso hast du 2 basedrums aber eine doppelfußmaschiene?
@DiePixelkrieger7 жыл бұрын
@tobiasderer7 жыл бұрын
