This movie was/is amazing. I first saw it when I was little when it first came out. I probably shouldn't have been watching it, but it solidified my love for this style of comedy. The history behind the movie and the raw talent involved made me realize that I "got it" at such a young age. This movie is a family favorite and to THIS day we still quote it. Robert Townsend, Keenen, and Damon Wayans are amazing. This is where it's AT!

he did a lot of behind the scenes stuff for many years after this and when this came out. Robert Townsend is the original, was a trendsetter, and was a bit of a blueprint. Where you think Keenan got some of his ideas from especially for In Living Color (Robert Townsend’s HBO special that use to come on with the skits). Plus, you wouldn’t of heard of the Wayans if not for him. Meteor Man, Five Heartbeats, his own sitcom show, writing for others, to name a few things. He started some stuff that others took and expanded on along with putting hella people on. I would say he had a nice amount of success and always kept it solid

RIP Mr. Witherspoon. His legend will always live on. For those that don't know the large man in the scene, his full name was Ludie C. Washington (went by Lou B Washington). He passed in 2001. His gravesite is in California. He was in Hollywood Shuffle, a Weird Al video (I'm Bad parody I believe) and an episode of Family Matters. You aren't forgotten. Your work lives on. RIP Ludie.
