Before you got to this world, the music was happy and cheerful, showing that the adventure ahead was going to be fun, if not a challenge at times. But then you step into this world and this music starts playing. You feel a deep sense that there is an underlying evil in this world. It's cold here, and the citizens are in turmoil. It is at this time that the kid gloves come off and the monsters start to show their strengths to you, and you must answer in kind.

Wow my childhood is bleeding out rn. Thank you. Im going to play this once I get batteries for my GBC. This is the only Dragon Warrior game I have ever fully completed 100%. I use to breed so much and I got all the monsters. I remember it taking years to do. My favorite monster was Gorago. It was so rare to breed one and I was so proud to have him. To me, this game perfected and pioneered breeding. Screw pokemon breeding, Im a monster breeder!

Breeding really was perfect. Such a simple formula that made sense, combined and regulated all elements and it always seemed to make sense no matter what pair you ended up with. Glad I could reignite the fire. I'd invest in some rechargeable AA's for the longest gaming sessions >:D emulating is a great alternative too, especially if you can get your HDMI's from PC to your TV. Have fun man

slimeman Hell yeah, thats the way to do it!!! Persevere through the first until the end. Its worth the wait. If you like the first you will LOVE the second. They perfected everything x2 in Cobi's journey and Taras adventure. Only Cobis monsters are more str based and taras are more caster/INT based. Also the special worlds are different toward the end. All about strategy and preference.

Frankeh lol I was asking Slimeman! My brother plays the emulator on his phone too. He does it with Pokémon. Personally I dont like using emulators. Id rather spend the money on the real thing for principle purposes. Lol im just a goofball tho. But I asked him how much because I paid 6 bucks for Taras adventure (the copy I had been missing since those years ago.) I couldve sworn DW:M2 was worth more than 6 freaking dollars. Oh well, but regardless, I have both Cobi and Tara games now.

About 20 years ago, I had a friend with who this game was our common passion. We have lost contact since then and today at 32 years old, I still wonder very regularly if he is well, if he is alive and if he too is listening to the musics from this game which are incredible.
