Russia, on the other hand, is one of the top 5 oil producing country and also the country with the largest number of nuclear arsenal. In addition, Russia also happens to be largest country of the world in terms of land mass and also one of the largest resources rich country. Take a look at how big the size of Russia on the map? There is no space race between China and US, China is far behind, US has about 7000 spacetech companies while China only has 550, with Starship, New Glenn and ... becoming operational soon, the gap will be even wider and uncatchable for China, the new space race is going to be among US private companies.
@dahaixing23763 сағат бұрын
none of the US private companies has reached deep space exploration such as moon orbits (several tried, but failed). Even SpaceX is on low orbit. You have no idea whats going on in the space industry.
@mateusnicolinibezerra97573 сағат бұрын
@@JigilJigil What most of these companies do is privatize technology that already exists. SpaceX is an exception, but what the government of China and the USA develop is way ahead of the private companies and very on par with one another.
@JigilJigil2 сағат бұрын
@@mateusnicolinibezerra9757 Actually the opposite is true, China's space technology is mosty old and outdated Soviet space technology plus the technologies that were transferred from Europe and those that has been made freely accessible by NASA with very little innovation on its own, on the other hand NASA has been relying on private sector for almost all its major projects over the last 3-4 decades, those 7000+ space tech companies in US are not new companies, most of them have been working with NASA along with the others for decades and NASA has been taking advantage of their IPs and experties for a long time, name me a major NASA project, and I'll demonstrate how numerous private companies have been involved in developing some of its most crucial technologies.
