Why do all these media continue to talk about birds? Look at the tail section you media people. What kind of birds make those kind of holes? Those kind of holes are made by fragments from a ground to air missile. If following the path of the airplane, it's very clear the pilots had no control over the control surfaces on the wings and the tail. When the airplane banks just before the crash, there is no aileron input visible on either wing which clearly indicates the pilots had no control over the airplane which again means the systems for control of the control surfaces on wings and tail had been lost. That indicates loss of hydraulic systems and/or electrical actuators. This airplane was subjected to fragment debris from a ground to air missile and we all know who like to shoot those things after airplanes. The tracking of the airplane from flightradar24 seems to indicate that the pilots have tried to control the airplane with the engines alone. Look to Russia for the people responsible.

I know you dont want to speculate but when its smack bang in your face like that it's kind of hard to deny. you watch, Aviation and military experts and enthusiasts alike will tell you those holes can not be much else. even parts of the plane breaking off won't leave such perfect spherical holes peppered like a shotgun blast into a sheet of metal (only the holes are a bit larger) The tail seems to have copped it the worst. Yeah because a flock of Birds would cause shrapnel to take the rear control surfaces and a total loss of pitch control. Russia shot it down. Someone filmed the pantsir air defense boost unit stuck in the ground and it was in the airspace during a Ukrainian drone attack. Not Ukraines fault. Russia should have closed the airspace if they were going to be shooting down air targets.

Amazing that the Russians said it was bird strikes, sounds like another Russian plane downing by ground fire.

The word "Bird" in Russian wouldn't happen to be "Buk" would it ?

No evidence of bird debris. Aircraft suffered total hydraulic loss, requiring crew to use the throttles to continue to manouevre the aircraft. A birdstrike would have impacted the engines causing loss of power which obviously was not the case.

There are photos showing the plane had holes clearly made by shrapnel

Birds? I hope a thorough international investigation is performed to get to the bottom of this.

why did all the birds hit the tail end`? and why did they make holes in the plane

If you consider a missle a bird then yes it was a bird strike. But looks like shrapnel in the tail to me.
