Those were some awesome fish! I'm excited for the upcoming ice fishing season. I have a few meals of fish in my freezer already so I can focus more on getting BIG fish this winter vs getting a meal or two. I know a spot I need to go and scout real soon to see if they're there!

They are slamming that jig hook I always use regular j hooks with a worm. Do you always use jigheads like this?

I always try to use a jig as it keeps the monsters from swallowing it so I can keep them alive
