When Jesus Christ comes back none of this stuff is going to be YOUR IDOLS. That's what the Hall of Fame is that's what all these places are that celebrate my immortals they are statues they are landmarks to your worshiping of mere humans. Not gonna lie, as a father myself, and someone’s who’s father wasn’t there when I was a kid…his tribute to his pops got me. A father’s impact often gets forgotten. Watching his son reach the pinnacle in the sport they both loved was probably everything he ever wanted. But having his son honor him in that moment, had to have meant the world. Amazing.

Growth is hating a man in the moment and seeing he's just like you. We all love basketball and each other. Respect for the game and top tier speech from a formidable opponent. Love you D. Wade. Respect from Dallas always 💙

Who's cutting the onions here ?? 😂🤣🤣 Dwayne Jr calling Pops to the stage make sure they step in together in Basketball 🏀 Heaven ( coz when you invite Dwayne Sr you invite the whole family and you honor Mummy's man ) #So deep, #So proud ... Let's have more of this in the presence of the coming generations...

That speech he gave to his father is nothing short of magical brought tears to my eyes to see a Man honouring his father like that. His father BTW looks Ike his older brother. I loved how he personalised and thanked members of his family. You get to understand the man he is and WHY. Best speech I've heard in a long time.

It is like a graduation speech, a speech to all of those who think that the trials in life is insurmountable that it can be overcome, and a motivational speech to soldiers who are about to sacrifice their lives in combat. Thanks DWade. Basketball forever. Me, basketball is my passion. It gave me health and another day to battle life's challenges.

Only the greats can adapt their game and still be stars post peak athleticism. Wade is one of them. He still had a very long career and was able to dominate In so many other ways. And he still had a very long span of peak athleticism. Wade stayed explosive from 03-2011. And not until 2014 did he really lose a step.

Growing up as a kid in Miami, wade was always my favorite and always will be. He brought so much happiness to me as a little kid in Miami, playing hoops trying to emulate him. That ending made me cry too cause as a father today, I hope one day I’ll have a moment like this with my son. Thank you for everything D Wade
