Thanks Bro, all I needed to know is what spline socket size I needed to remove the brake pad pin. 1/4 spline socket, awesome. I have a metric spline set for my track bike but none of them fit properly. Now I know it's a standard 1/4" spline socket...perfect. On another note your fluid was low because your pads were worn, when you put new pads on your fluid will rise again just something for viewers to be aware of.

What tool sizes?? What's the torque specs of the bolts for reassembly?? If you're actually trying to help people, that may be important....

after replacing the pads on my 2011 fxdc, the wheel (when off the ground) is now harder to turn by hand. Is this normal until they wear in?
@team_sixthree89566 ай бұрын
That’s normal how they working out for you since it’s been a while?

@@team_sixthree8956 Thanks for asking. Actually the rubbing was caused by another issue, had taken the rear wheel to a shop for a new tire and new wheel bearings. Bearings were improperly installed and not seated on the rotor side, forcing the rotor into the inside surface of the caliper bracket toward the pulley (2011 dyna). Took wheel back to them, they redid the bearings and problem solved. Was a learning experience.. anyone that has new bearings installed should check for a gap after the fact between bracket and rotor to make sure they have clearance.
Shows rear brake mounting bolts 120-168 in-lbs feel like that’s a high torque spec I just snugged them tight enough and re checked the bolt after a few rides

@@team_sixthree8956I just did the rear breaks on my dyna, is it normal for the caliper to have a tiny bit of play like up and down when the break is not being pressed? Thanks
