Hey y’all, so this was definitely an experience and I can’t wait to touch up my roots. I officially dyed my hair on November 14, and as of today already have dark roots (other than the ones that didn’t take, lol) I am loving being blonde so far & I hope this video helps a lot!
(I’ve been doing hair especially my own hair for about 10 years, I did attend cosmetology school however I didn’t graduate due to personal reason so this is not my first time dying my hair or any hair, I just struggled with my own head)

You definitely look great in vibrant light hair, that highlighted strawberry blonde color is so pretty..., but because your hair is thick and curly, it’s really hard to bleach and color it evenly yourself. Let a really skilled professional do it for you next time so you don’t get damage and breakage. I’m worried if you attempt to correct the patchy spots or lift up the regrowth that there could be significant breakage. You’ve got a great start, I wouldn’t want to see you suffer a setback.

But unfortunately I cut my hair due to health reasons mentally & physically so I get to start over from scratch.

Ok soooo the update is I actually did a big chop (video on my channel) lol NOT because I colored it my hair was very healthy still with no breakage I LOVED it But I’m bipolar and deal with depression bad so I end up cutting my hair off. Definitely regret it but you live and learn. Once I grow my hair back to my desired length I do actually plan on coloring it blonde again.

Question-why didn't you give yourself a deep conditioner? I would think when such a harsh chemical is put on the hair, conditioning would be the right ending results so the hair won't suffer so much looking brittle and dry.

Well if you watched it full out I stated that it wasn’t dry at all and the brass went away after I toned it. But there is no update due to my depression I shaved my head soooo you’ll just have to wait till December cause that’s when I’m dying it blonde again 😌 Thanks for watching.
