Just thinking of that evening, rather late, when mum-in-law visited, with us, a Paris event, we're waiting for the underground. Hero Husband in 'black-and-white' sort of priestly attire. A gang of wild boys waiting for the métro with us, and suddenly, everybody offered mil a seat on the benches.... we didn't understand the world, as Parisians night travellers are not world-known for curtoisie. But they thought, HH was a catholic priest. Worked a treat! :)
