I’ve seen that it’s a thing many stand ups (primary younger ones) use to look at their set and refresh on jokes. That’s why you don’t see older and more experienced comedians take as many drinks during their sets :)

@serenaisanoob90624 жыл бұрын
im late but like when the crowd laughs theres really no stopping them so you sorta just have to get your jokes in when they're laughing or they would sit there laughing while watching him drink water..i'm aware of this because my friend does stand up comedy and he talks about this situation 24/7 saying how he doesnt like saying the jokes while they're laughing but its annoying how hes just sitting there watching them crack up for 5 minutes..the only way to get your joke in is to constantly say them no matter if the timing is rushed or not lol no hate
@BiRmOoN6 жыл бұрын
I wanna give him an honest review. Good stuff: Your jokes are awesome and you got the crowd's attention. Stuff to improve: Your comedic timing sometimes gets off, we see you're nervous because you switch hands with the mic and move too much, your impressions aren't really believable and you need to work on your crowd control. Like in the joke about the priests, I think you should've let them laugh for a bit and then say the punch with "I'm kidding!". I hope to see a perfect routine from you because I see that you can give one. Good luck man.
@jettn76563 жыл бұрын
I wanna give your review an honest review. I'm all for constructive criticism but you sound super pretentious. But I can see you writing a perfect review in the future, or doing stand-up comedy because you seem to know how.

“He did the same routine“ is the most idiotic complaint I could fathom. Literally every comedian repeats portions of their routine, if not the entire routine, when touring. Do you think they just get up there and start going off the fly? It’s literally a rehearsed performance. Do you complain when Ariana Grande sings “the same songs” at each of her concerts?

If this dude is legitimately, authentically him (and partly even if not), he is a hit as far as I’m concerned. He is one in 10,000. You can’t find a kid who is as openly acute, (and the best word I thought of earlier, was “legit”), and even for grown ass adults (I’m 40), He is both real and refreshing and funny. He will be a killer if he excels yet further, and I have frequented the comedy store in HWood (even heckled by Dave Chappell 2 times) ((damn straight imma name drop )) (((and have a parenthesis within a parenthesis within a parenthesis, and note that spell check didn’t correct the word “imma” just a second ago, what times we be living in))). Damn, in another life with more time and no kids, I would have loved to be a comic, as this little homey inspires me.
