How did such a young guy get this much knowledge and be able to convey all this so clearly? You definitely need to be trainer bro.

I have been learning from a coach from a country in that region for almost five years.. I initially wanted to learn the proper mechanics of a Russian/Cuban check hook but discovered a gold mine of boxing knowledge. It is no coincidence that former Eastern Bloc fighters have dominated amateur boxing for several decades. Balance, angles, body mechanics, and kinetic chain are everything. After a while, you can feel if you have broken your kinetic chain. It gets more interesting all the time. Salute.

Your way of coaching is absolutely perfect bro, you show progressions, then you show advanced and then you show the situation in which it can be used. Wish you the best and keep these videos coming!

Brilliant advice, im 5’7, 57kg with slim legs & very long arms, I have naturally been moving towards this anyway it felt correct to really whip my hooks & upper cuts in and I have naturally been using a pendulum bounce to really hammer in my straights & evade my opponents jabs. it just felt correct but I always knew there was something Im missing for it to really be crisp & flow continuously. this video has tied it all together perfectly the little things i couldn’t quite figure myself out have been tied together really well here with your demonstration & now there are no breaks or confusing moments in my movement! Really appreciate your advice, from the UK much respect to you brother your a great teacher 👊🏼

There are many good footwork videos but this one clicks with me. I love how you explain the progression from normal stance to fighting stance. Since my feet are still awkward, I can always revisit the normal stance before progressing the fighting stance.

At the moment, I weigh too much to do the pendulum step. Could I do weight shifts forward and backward without them being jumps to practice it? And in this style, if you go with flat feet, do you keep the back foot more elevated?

Hey! Yes you can practice weight shifts without bouncing. Your rear foot heel should be lifted just a little
