THINGS TO NOTE: For anyone intending to do this from Daval Peak, to ensure you don't grab the wrong one, like many others have; consult this closer up map that shows the exact location of the correct one you want to push: imgur.com/a/ur9nNvF Or, focus on the surroundings at 9:00; keep in mind you might have melted the ice and gotten the Korok within, so that might be a visual difference. Remember, there are like 300 RuinGuardians all over Hyrule, they're all movable and look the same, but only the 4 shown in the video are dynamic objects in which the glitch will work. Don't grab just any one you see, make sure they're the right ones showed in the video. Also to note, once you have lifted the RuinGuardian and saved since, it will never drop stuff from lifting it anymore. This however DOES NOT mean the glitch doesn't work anymore. You will still get a stream of ancient parts if you drag it two map units away, the only thing it means is that you can no longer see what you'll get as an infinite stream before completing the glitch.

If I can find ANY glitch that gives me a crap-load of ancient arrows, then I will try to farm a lot of them so I won't have to run out AND I can destroy guardians. I tried to use some on Calamity Ganon a couple of days ago and while it DID work out, it was kind of slow TO work. :)

Is it me or do ancient cores have a very low chance of streaming after moving the guardian 2 map tiles away? I’ve been trying for over 4 hours now just moving so many guardians but haven’t found the lucky one. if it helps i have flipped over and looted at Daval peak and Hyrule.

It's sad that they are designed in this way, because they can pretty much only be used on guardians if you want the value. They can also be used for damage on bosses of course, but they're not much more than bomb arrows, from what I can tell

Some questions I’ve noticed below that I have answers for: Q Does it work for Wii U? A sure does Q Why isn’t it dropping parts when i flip it? A you didn’t save before flipping it previously. (It still works but it’s a roll of the dice now, so good luck b) Q is this patched? A as of 05/15/2019 it’s not Q Hotel? A Trivago Q why isn’t it working? A your not walking far enough. I’d do the one in Gerudo, but if you can’t be bothered, hyrule castle is good too. Q Can’t collect gears and junk when I’ve dragged it out i.e link does grab animation but isn’t actually picking anything up. A there is a couple work arounds, but the easiest is to climb up the base of it and position yourself on top, should yield results. (It’s slippery tho, so it might take a few tries!) Hope this helps anyone who has questions. I’ve been doin this for two days now and I think I’ve run into all the issues this glitch has, so if you have more questions, reply. K love u ❤️

Afirnside Those are the Royal Gaurd boots, and they are part of the DLC. If you have the DLC you can find the whole Royal Gaurd set in Hyrule Castle

@@purplectric777 If you walk by a shrine or a stable, the game will auto save. Best thing to do is enter a nearby shrine, because that will completely stop the glitch and you can save without worrying about the game crashing. The second best option is to always have the guardian next to a water source. It is fairly easy to push the guardian into the water with magnesis, then flip the guardian with Cryonis that way (thus ending the glitch).

I've not been able to get this to save yet after multiple attempts. I've filled up my item storage and saving crashes it. I tried slowly walking away to hopefully get out of range and i couldn't get very far before crashing. accessing the menu at all will cause a crash. i am going to try again and slowly move in increments and hopefully the memory will clear out enough between moves, but that will take hours. looking for other ideas to complete a successful save.

I tried that, and then realized it just wasn't happening and wasn't worth the time being spent so I opened my menu and I actually was fine... and then I teleported away and I'm still fine and have all my items so, guess I got really lucky lol

@@nae6174 I was able to fast travel away one time by chance. The best advice I got that I will share is to go near the shrine in the Gerudo desert. The game will auto save. I tweaked this advice and entered the shrine, thus ending the glitch and allowing me to manually save as well. I never got the guardian to flip over, but this saves the day.

I think the original trial of sword glitch let you collect that over and over, but it would just replace them you could only ever get 1 if I remember accurately. A lot of items had that programming that were meant to only be collected once just like master sword

Wasted an hour today trying to get gears, springs, cores, and shafts. What went wrong, you may ask? I had the wrong outfit and since I couldn't go to the menu, I was slowly dying of heat exhaustion. I couldn't bring the guardian upright after collecting everything so I died bc of heat exhaustion....and I had about 10% left in battery too so something bad was bound to happen...

I know this is pretty old, but if you set a fire right next to the cooking pot at Kara Kara Bazaar, right where the ladle is, you can shoot arrows and pick them up as you go, making it much more efficient. Additionally, you can get a 5-shot bow by chance from lynels, though most people probably already know that.

Yes, I also just did it and it worked fine (sep 25, 2019). I tried doing it on another guardian after maxing out on gears and shafts and it no longer works. The original guardian I used was the one next to hyrule castle and it no longer dispenses ancient parts, even after a full red moon cycle. Wondering if this is a one time deal?

i chose the most stupid guardian which is near Lanaryu tower and thennnn I dropped the guardian while crossing the bridge. Trying so hard again, passing all the bridges and finally got the glitch to work then could not tip the guardian over to safely save the game and then CRASHED... Lynk blessed me :(

For the arrows I would recommend getting a 5 shot lynel bow, transfer the durability of an ancient bow with menu overloading and then duplicate it a few times also with menu overloading. Then head to kara kara basar and just shoot normal arrows into the cooking pod with the lynel bows and collect them.

I recommend not having a guardian that shoots out 4 parts at once because it overly lagged the game for me and slowed down the spewing process so that I only got around 400 parts total after pressing A for 50 minutes

To get infinite arrows you can also go to the Oasis in the gerudo desert (can't remember the name) and shoot with a multiple bow on the cooking pot (easier than fire and tree)

A few tips: - Make sure you do this straight after a blood moon as if the cutscene (or any cutscene) triggers whilst you’re farming the parts, the game will crash - You can’t access the weapon wheel and switch or unequip weapons either or the game will crash

This is why I come to you for things like this. Found a different person who covered the same thing except they neglected to mention turning the guardian upright stops the flow which ceases the gigantic spike of lag. Needless to say I started around 6 pm and it is now 11:35 pm. If I had found your video sooner, I wouldn't have lost 999 cores, screws, shafts, and springs.

Also I was pushing the decayed guardian with a weapon and when the glitch worked and I was done, I forgot about pushing it back up so I picked up the weapon, so I went looking for something that could push the guardian back but when I went back, the guardian disappeared and I could go into menu without it crashing

Everything about this video was perfect. The Mario 64 references, the text written in the dialog boxes, the gameplay, the everything. This is also very helpful. When Link "took a shower", I just said "WHAT?". Surely it was a joke. No joke 😶 Well done. I will definitely need to try this. Endless ancient arrows will be so fun. Has potential to be better than horn farming, but it's down to the RNG. If you get the most common screws and springs, all this setup and collection will net less than 27k; which is about 45 minutes of horn farming.
