I’ve strayed from Caroline’s lower body workouts because I find my grip strength is tested more than my leg strength and it’s hard for me to track progress. Therefore I train diligently at the gym. However, Caroline is the reason why I became a lifter and athlete over the last few years. Though I’m 30, my athleticism is better than ever before and in turn I always need to come back to her content; her videos always bring me immense joy and I’m so grateful for her!❤ These 2x20lb dumbells for this workout humbled me, however! It goes to show how awesome her content is!

This was by far the hardest Caroline workout I have done. I almost gave up 5 times. But kept pushing thru with breaks. I am going to be incredibly sore in 2 days. 😭😭😭😭

Exercise with Caroline has become a way of life not just a session to fix something. So what is it about the last 5 seconds of the holds that feel longer than the actual 30 seconds? 😀 I tried NOT to look at the clock! This tri-set format was crazy good with the BW mixed in too, and I found the time went really quickly overall. At first I considered postponing this workout to tomorrow because my hamstrings were still feeling Monday’s workout especially because I did the RDL add-on but I decided to quit whining and get the job done. No dying another day as someone else commented! The Bulgarians were most challenging for me today and I had to take breaks on the weighted holds for sure. Scratch that…the reverse plank lifts were most challenging. I did them lying down. I always think the last leg day was the hardest yet but I think this one earns that title. I used 15s today, taking a cue from Caroline’s lighter than normal choice for her legs. And now to rest til Friday. Any yoga I do will be just shavasana for the entire time!!

I remember doing this workout the first time with 2x9kg Dumbbells and I struggled. Today I did it with 2x12.5kg Dumbbells and I loved it. Having said that, this is one challenging leg workout. I gave it all my best, especially the holds, I held them till I was shaking and took a quick stop then back on it again. Leggs got a good burn today. 💥❤❤

This was one challenging workout. Isometric holds are no joke. I was tested mentally and physically, and I seriously struggled today. I used 2x 9kg Dumbells. Added the chilled Cardion workout. Yoga for deep stretch and relaxation is my best friend this evening and tomorrow! 💖

That was a brutal leg session but I feel so alive and happy I’ve survived it. For me the hardest part was the dead lunges I dropped from 22.5 lbs to 16 lbs as I’m still working on my form and strength. So glad tomorrow is rest day. Thanks Caroline, see you in Friday 💥💥💥

It’s the holds that I’m most scared of! I know from experience that going to failure during a hold is so much more painful than going to failure with regular or even half reps… believe me there is a lot of yelling involved!

Thank you CG ,! What a challenging session! You made me have the body I have dreamed off for years! I feel strong , mindful and euphoric! I used to train at the gym better never got the results I wanted. I am more confident now that I have ever been ! These workouts have been a blessing!

This workout is definitely a brilliant workout! The fact that CG was only using 10kg means we are going to be put to the test… and I certainly was, my legs were on FIRE. 🔥🔥🔥 Thanks for the tips in the beginning Caroline, they helped me focus on the holds. ☺️ Happy Wednesday everyone!

Absolutely brutal workout. Why did I keep going? I realized over and over again quitting wasn't an option. I didn't want to carry that energy with me throughout the day and decided to grind out what I could. My muscles burned and shook. Lord have mercy!!!!!

Happy that's done. Felt brutal at times. Holds are so mentally challenging. It's a constant battle in my head. Half of my mind is saying 'its too intense, I need to come out of it.' Other half is saying, 'hold on for a few more seconds!!' How cruel putting the hamstring holds at the end. Hamstrings still sore from Monday and my triceps really felt that move too after yesterday. Thank you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hi Nicola...I know what you mean about the holds! You somehow have to make your mind go elsewhere...but doesn’t the time go slowly! Each second seems to take at least a minute! Yes my hamstrings were still a bit sore from Monday...made those holds quite fun!! I did the chilled cardio at the end! Actually I found this helped...got my legs moving again after all those holds! Of course this will be intense but afterwards even though you can't walk for a little while it is building strength. Love lower body workouts. I'm ready to go Caroline 🤩

This is my favorite format even though those holds are a killer with weights! Loved everything about this and the chilled cardio was a perfect add on just getting a few more lunges in there. 😂
