I’ve strayed from Caroline’s lower body workouts because I find my grip strength is tested more than my leg strength and it’s hard for me to track progress. Therefore I train diligently at the gym. However, Caroline is the reason why I became a lifter and athlete over the last few years. Though I’m 30, my athleticism is better than ever before and in turn I always need to come back to her content; her videos always bring me immense joy and I’m so grateful for her!❤ These 2x20lb dumbells for this workout humbled me, however! It goes to show how awesome her content is!

This was by far the hardest Caroline workout I have done. I almost gave up 5 times. But kept pushing thru with breaks. I am going to be incredibly sore in 2 days. 😭😭😭😭

Anyone else have to take breaks during the holds? That was so intense! Loved it, Caroline! I'll definitely have to come back to this one. Maybe next time, I won't need to pause. My legs are shaking! Enjoy everyone! This was dynamite!

I thought my leg muscles were going to explode towards the end of that. So many holds! Mentally it does challenge you to get through the pain. Thanks Caroline, the thought you put into every move in your workouts really shows and is much appreciated.

Hi Caroline...hi everyone...this was such a brilliant intense lower body session! So brilliantly planned, Caroline, as always! I just loved the mix of isometric holds and dynamic moves and the way you put it all together made it interesting and fun to do! I couldn’t believe how long the 30 second holds felt by the end! I finished off with chilled cardio which was just a perfect end! Have a lovely active rest day everyone and see you on Friday! Matthew

Hi Matthew, hi everyone.. This session was the most expected to come for me. I loved the combination of iso&dyn moves too. Now I wonder if new cardio workout will come for rest/active day :) have a nice and lovely day

Hi Matthew! This workout didn't disappoint, of course! I had the same feelings as you and as you rightly say 30 seconds can really last an eternity! Especially during Bulgarian lunge 😵.... Enjoy your rest day! Are you planning one of your long walks🏃?

So glad that is all over. It sure did burn Minette🔥🔥🔥I was concentrating so hard on staying upright I couldn't RELAX😱😱 a brilliant brilliant session with such variety and a few expletives thrown it😂 I hope you enjoyed as much. Enjoy all🏋️🏋️

After yesterday's powerful upper body, we really have to thank Caroline for today's lower body and YASSS isometrics!!!! My upper body is asking for a break! Brillant variety for this leg day!!! Love it!

Hi Peach...this is such a brilliant, intense lower body session...you’ll love it! It’s the isometrics that really make this workout intense! On some of the holds you can’t believe that 30 seconds is so long!! But a brilliant feeling at the end! A superbly organised workout as always...fun to do! Have a lovely day! Matthew

@@matthewalmond4688 Hi Matthew, I agree with your assessment of today’s training. I love leg day and I’m seeing the benefits of training the quads, hamstrings, adductors. Exercise with Caroline has become a way of life not just a session to fix something. I absolutely love working out now and whilst every workout poses challenges I am capable of undertaking each session knowing I can do it… We are all doing our best and making ourselves and, Caroline proud… Have a great day wherever you are in the world.

All I can say, Caroline, I did my best! I found this to be the most challenging legs workout in entire EPIC III! Enjoy everyone - do your best! You got this :) Wall sits was my favorite part 😂

So what is it about the last 5 seconds of the holds that feel longer than the actual 30 seconds? 😀 I tried NOT to look at the clock! This tri-set format was crazy good with the BW mixed in too, and I found the time went really quickly overall. At first I considered postponing this workout to tomorrow because my hamstrings were still feeling Monday’s workout especially because I did the RDL add-on but I decided to quit whining and get the job done. No dying another day as someone else commented! The Bulgarians were most challenging for me today and I had to take breaks on the weighted holds for sure. Scratch that…the reverse plank lifts were most challenging. I did them lying down. I always think the last leg day was the hardest yet but I think this one earns that title. I used 15s today, taking a cue from Caroline’s lighter than normal choice for her legs. And now to rest til Friday. Any yoga I do will be just shavasana for the entire time!!

@ Alison - I echo every point of your feedback. Those holds…🥵😤. I struggled at several points through the workout, but I pushed through! The variety really helped too. Now my lose body ache matches my upper body ache 🤣🤣. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Omg….soooo glad that’s over! I think that’s the hardest workout I ever did. I had to take breaks during the holds. It’s been so hot here lately…motivation isn’t waning for these intense workouts but I’m glad I did it. Thanks Caroline!!

I remember doing this workout the first time with 2x9kg Dumbbells and I struggled. Today I did it with 2x12.5kg Dumbbells and I loved it. Having said that, this is one challenging leg workout. I gave it all my best, especially the holds, I held them till I was shaking and took a quick stop then back on it again. Leggs got a good burn today. 💥❤❤

My legs were shaking at the time of the wall sits. Also, I am super afraid to do lunges but today I kept that fear aside and dived in. Amazing workout, thank you CG

This was one challenging workout. Isometric holds are no joke. I was tested mentally and physically, and I seriously struggled today. I used 2x 9kg Dumbells. Added the chilled Cardion workout. Yoga for deep stretch and relaxation is my best friend this evening and tomorrow! 💖

I love the dynamic/ isometric combos.. so challenging to hold those poses once you’re already fatigued!!

Great workout done without weights. Body weight only as I’ve pulled something in my upper back so gave the weights a miss. Still very challenging. Legs are like jelly. Thank Caroline

Killer leg day! I still feel my hamstrings from a couple of days ago, and the leg reverse plank lift here reminded me of that. Loved the format, the connection between the exercises, and of course, the variety. Lovely day! Thanks, Caroline!

This might be one of the toughest leg workout i have done and mind you I have finished most of her programs. The trisets coupled with isometric training is super hard. Finished it ✅

I have done Epic beginners (twice), Epic 1, 2 and currently on 3. Words can’t express how much you have changed my life Caroline! I feel better mentally and physically!!! Today, I discovered that I LOVE isometric workouts! Never did I think I would enjoy the challenge of holding a lunge!!! Thank you for helping my find my passion of lifting! ♥️

That was a brutal leg session but I feel so alive and happy I’ve survived it. For me the hardest part was the dead lunges I dropped from 22.5 lbs to 16 lbs as I’m still working on my form and strength. So glad tomorrow is rest day. Thanks Caroline, see you in Friday 💥💥💥

The only thing keeping me from crying was seeing your smile, but tbh this is the second time I felt the need to cry in a workout session and both times were leg day from Epic III 😂 but like in a good way. I really appreciate the challenge and the pain. Thanksss 💕

Caroline you're killing me! In the best way possible of course❤🤪. I was honestly thinking, she is trying to kill me for the majority of this workout. I don't know if it was because I went so hard on Monday, but my legs are DEAD! Thank you for such a wonderful program that pushes me through my limits to the next level.

It’s the holds that I’m most scared of! I know from experience that going to failure during a hold is so much more painful than going to failure with regular or even half reps… believe me there is a lot of yelling involved!

Lunges and HIIT tie for last on my list of favorite workouts, so I am very proud of myself for getting through this one--it was TOUGH!!! I know lots of you Girvanators have legs of steel and I know you all rocked it--so proud of everyone for embracing the dynamite despite the very real danger of pain!!! You guys are all my heroes and of course, Caroline leads the pack!!!

I did this today in my balcony while it's pouring rain in front of me. Yes that was a hardcore Saturday leg day. Recently I have been receiving compliments & I share your videos with a disclaimer that I lift half of the weights she uses. No more no workout rainy days & thanks so much for sharing your skills so generously. ❤

Omg!!! What an intense burning workout. Probably one of the hardest and I loved this format. So effective. Even with lighter weights this is a killer! 👍

Lots of unpleasant-sounding grunts and cries were made by me during this crazy leg day today 😝 thanks again for this fun and unique program, Caroline! PS I love every single one of your coordinated & pretty outfits, too, btw! Im sure I’m not the only one who feels inspired by fun workout outfits. I hope you don’t feel you can’t repeat an outfit- I’d love to see some of the pink/purple/blue combos from the first weeks again since they match the ‘EPIC lll’ logo✨🥰

Thank you CG ,! What a challenging session! You made me have the body I have dreamed off for years! I feel strong , mindful and euphoric! I used to train at the gym better never got the results I wanted. I am more confident now that I have ever been ! These workouts have been a blessing!

This workout is definitely a brilliant workout! The fact that CG was only using 10kg means we are going to be put to the test… and I certainly was, my legs were on FIRE. 🔥🔥🔥 Thanks for the tips in the beginning Caroline, they helped me focus on the holds. ☺️ Happy Wednesday everyone!

Absolutely brutal workout. Why did I keep going? I realized over and over again quitting wasn't an option. I didn't want to carry that energy with me throughout the day and decided to grind out what I could. My muscles burned and shook. Lord have mercy!!!!!

Happy that's done. Felt brutal at times. Holds are so mentally challenging. It's a constant battle in my head. Half of my mind is saying 'its too intense, I need to come out of it.' Other half is saying, 'hold on for a few more seconds!!' How cruel putting the hamstring holds at the end. Hamstrings still sore from Monday and my triceps really felt that move too after yesterday. Thank you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hi Nicola...I know what you mean about the holds! You somehow have to make your mind go elsewhere...but doesn’t the time go slowly! Each second seems to take at least a minute! Yes my hamstrings were still a bit sore from Monday...made those holds quite fun!! I did the chilled cardio at the end! Actually I found this helped...got my legs moving again after all those holds! Of course this will be intense but afterwards even though you can't walk for a little while it is building strength. Love lower body workouts. I'm ready to go Caroline 🤩

This is my favorite format even though those holds are a killer with weights! Loved everything about this and the chilled cardio was a perfect add on just getting a few more lunges in there. 😂
