Love pyramids and I love that I found this channel. I taught fitness classes for 28 years and it's great to find someone that can kick my butt and I don't have to think of a program myself! Thanks so much for your positive energy!

The pyramid concept is unique. I’m curious about the idea, is it a type of training program? I like it, just wondering if it’s been studied for benefits and results. The class went by so quickly and it was put together so well. I agree, nice to just follow along and the timing of everything really keeps the tempo. The burnout session and the end was perfect!

@@amperage8032 pyramids are not new and it is used to burnout muscles. It's good to use as a different tool so you don't plateau too quickly. I love it because it makes things go quickly. Caroline does a great job of breaking down workouts and making great programs with really good explanations of form.

I love the concept of climbing up then relief on way down…but by then your muscles are tired so it's still really intense….The first set (typically 20 or 30 seconds) may feel 'ok' but as the exercise is repeated, and duration is increased, so too will the demand from you! Hi Caroline and all. I have missed you. I have been on a mental health journey. Until recently exercise has been enough to keep my head above water. I was drowning a month ago and found the courage to seek help....hardest part. Over the last few weeks I have been integrating medication. I won't say that's been easy. It's been pretty physically brutal...sleeplessness being the most difficult. After a couple weeks, sleep started to return and for the last week I did EPIC beginners and then voila....here I am doing a pyramid of makers!!!! Thank you, Caroline. You've trained me well. Your kindness and generosity shine in my living room all the way in California 🌞🧡🤗💪👏👍👋

When the long part of the set comes up i brace myself mentally since for me it’s the most challenging part and then the next parts I’m usually a happy camper already as we appreciate the shorter lengths. I always love pyramid training. One of my favorite types of training😍! Today flew-by! I couldn't believe how quickly we hit 80%. The music was great and so were the exercises. It's always amazing how exhausted I get with a few sets of Makers!🤩🤩 Those deep pushups were very fatiguing, but I love 'em. One of those exercises that you know is doing great things for you. The finisher was intense but what a way to wrap up the workout. Another great start to my Friday. Thanks so much Caroline! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend. See you all Sunday!😁

Hi Caroline...hi everyone...just finished on a cold, dark morning...but the workout certainly warmed me up and the lovely bright colours made up for the darkness! I just loved this pyramid training...I love the endurance aspect! The push ups at the end were the hardest for me...but so good for practising good form! I’m going for a long walk with a friend today...so this was a good warm up! Have a lovely weekend everyone! Matthew

Morning Matthew, hardest for me was the push press pyramids. Not sure if that's cos it was the first ones so mentally you know what's ahead. Favourite was the maker round due to the variety, HR was high throughout most. A very dreary morning here too. Damp, leaves blowing, very October like. Have a good walk!!

Morning Evelyn....yes they are fun! Actually I found the Makers went last very quickly as you don’t do so many full reps...even in the 60 seconds! It was the push ups at the end that I found really killing! But good too....great for getting your technique right! Have a great workout! Matthew

... All perfect Caroline!... But those push ups were almost impossible! Mine were not deep, but I gave my best! I loved makers and all the other exercises, I was very focused on keeping the correct execution! I really liked the small breaks during Row and during half elevated squats, they allowed me to always keep the proper form! The additional video is one of my favorites, I love it!! toughest week so far! I really love this pyramid style and I realized that I am not a big fan of "no repeat" when it comes the strength. I am much more focused 😅. It's so interesting how my mind (and body) are dealing with this pyramid style: I push myself much more, expecially in the last 40 and 20 seconds.

Day 34 (finally) done ! ✅ I was dreading this workout because of the pyramid format but it turned out to be pretty fun ! I started this session without hesitation, i knew it was going to be intense like all the workouts of the week. My favourit day… what a great journey i was totally exhausted when i reached the peak … going down was like oh i did it. i pushed through. The entire workout was awesome and i loved it

Happy Friday All! Full body pyramid was fire but I loved it! The time flew by and the eight exercises were a nice mix from upper to lower body. I wore 2lbs &5lbs wrist weights with 15lbers and that was just enough. A 3 minute kettle swing for additional cardio with a 30 minute yoga session was a great way to start a Friday. I absolutely loved this session! I was really intimidated for full body pyramids this week, especially after the previous challenging sessions this week, but once I started my body felt really ready for it and so strong! On the deep pushups I had to take the dumbbells out and just do wide pushups after a couple sets. My palms were aching from too much pushing on the dumbbells. What a great Friday workout! The reverse step lunges certainly hit me harder than I thought they would!!🥴 Highlights were Maker of course and the deep pushups at the end. I found some push up bars in the gym ✅💪. Fullbody Friday - Focus - Form- Finish - Feel EPIC...... used 12.5kgs and they were just right although next time I might need to move up a little. Time flies but its not a walk in the park or in the case a mountain climb. Shoulders will be pumped after all that pressing and the legs and back will be crying out for the final 20secs. I so loved the Chest..while interchangeable DBs have a few disadvantages one thing they are good for is going deep on Pushups. That section was super really stretched the chest and managed to rep them out it with no pauses. The finisher is probably the hardest one to date for me, the HR spikes and finishing is just an amazing feeling. Happy Weekend Everyone. Have a nice weekend Caroline gonna be cool so nearly time for the monkey hats and gloves. No more 99s for the this season 😢

Hi Anthony...great workout again and great weights! Weren’t those push ups just so intense at the end...but I really feel that I have made progress in getting my push ups deeper! In the end I just couldn’t resist this workout so I got up and did it at 5.45 am before I drove down to see my friend and colleague, Philippa, for our walk. So after this workout...a 12 mile walk on the South Downs Way and about 2.5 hours of driving I am ready for the weekend! It was very cold here first thing...but sunny later on...and had there been a Pokeyman on the South Downs Way I think he would have been doing a good trade! Sincerly hard but side effect not have much bodyfat in belly area.i whis good luck for your day and your workout ,,its brilliant ,,😘🥰💪☕

Pyramid training is always a different kind of hard😂 I actually really enjoyed this and found the workout manageable overall - I played a round a bit with my weights and wound up only using one weight during the rear step lunges. It wasn't intentional, but I think my body just kind of knew that two would have been too much today. I also had to stand more regularly during the rows - my grip and form were letting me down a bit. I can feel small differences in my strength and form, but I'm also grateful for dayd were I can just tune into my body and ask it what its capcble of as opposed to demanding 100% 100% of the time. That change took a while (about 2 years) and this channel has been a huge part of that. Thanks for all you hard work, C! See you in the next one! Much love from South Africa

Thank you for another EPIC time together! 💝 I had a blast with this full body session ... used my 10s throughout and definitely improved with strength & stamina. All my favourites in there, like the Maker, bent over rows and deep push ups (used my push up bars). Did the recommended add-on and enjoyed every bit of it! ✨💖✨

Morning Monika...wasn’t this another brilliant, intense workout! I’ve just finished and I loved it! I used 8 kg weights and it was challenging! The push ups at the end were the hardest I thought but brilliant fir practising good form! Well done on doing the add on! I’m going for a long walk today with a friend! Only Caroline can make 10 kg sound heaviers and 15 kg sound lighter.. That was so powerful for sure! I was happy to see the black weights but shortly into the routine, they started feeling heavier by the rep! Exceptional! And those push ups! Oh God they were tough! Thank u!

Good morning all! Phew😅😅 another brilliant intense session. I think Fri is my favourite workout day as you can concentrate on both upper and lower body. As always was a tough one but fun. Caroline so encouraging throughout the workout which keeps you climbing and descending. A very very enjoyable fun session but glad tomorrow rest day! I used 7.5kg throughout except for the finisher used one 10kg for the 1xdumbbell squat & press. Enjoy all and have a great weekend 🏋️🏋️ ***Add on done. Push ups and planks. Now I feel all in. Give it a blast. More pain to add😂😂 enjoy****

The most intense full body workout I've ever done!!!! Feeling dead at the end but very happy to have kept puhsing until it's done 😄 Your workouts are the best and you're part of my training almost every day. Loved this workout. Amazing that the half squats in the finisher were just as hard as the weight moves. This one went by fast. Looking forward to the next one and continually grateful for this amazing workout series.

This pyramid full body workout was tremendous...I have enjoyed it so very much and for the very first time I've tried to do many quality reps in pyramid series cuz while coming down we have to push extremely harder and today I made it....I can't believe I've gained so much strength...this week was a bit busy for me but I've felt very fresh and rejuvenated after every workout of this vk.....really amazing....feeling epic...caroline...thanks a lot

Completed 5/27/23 with mainly 15 lb dumbbells (except used 20 lb dumbbells for the rear lunges.) Loved it! Second time completing it.

Completed again 12/20/23 with mainly 20 lb dumbbells, but used 15 lb dumbbells for the makers. Definitely took a few breaks throughout the push press. 😅 One of my favs!
