Dyno Comparison | Stock Turbo vs DPS Turbo | 5.9L Cummins Performance

In this video you will see the increases made to a 2004 5.9L Cummins by adding a Diesel Power Source Exhaust Manifold and Performance Turbocharger.
The Diesel Power Source Turbos for the 5.9L Cummins is based on the S300 turbo platform with substantial modifications. Our innovative in-house engineering with CFD (computational fluid dynamics) capabilities have greatly improved the performance of the Turbo.
The Diesel Power Source 3-Piece 24 valve Cummins manifold for the Dodge Cummins engine is both a great performance manifold and a factory Cummins replacement manifold. This 3-Piece Manifold is cast from Ductile Iron similar to your turbine housing (which can handle extreme heat, without much expansion or shrinkage). We've designed this manifold with CFD testing to increase turbo spool-up, and increase exhaust gas efficiency, all while maintaining exhaust gas velocity, so the turbo will function optimally. We've made our Cummins exhaust manifold the end ports flow more similar to the center ports so the end ports EGT's won't be much hotter than the center ports.

This turbo and mainfold did my truck wonders!! We will be doing 100% over injectors and really put this turbo to the test!!!! Big shoutout to the guys over at diesel power source!!!

I bought a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500, but didn't really look into all of the aftermarket parts. It ended up having a DPS Turbonator Turbo, DPS Extreme manifold, DPS Arctic Cooler, S&B intake, 5 inch exhaust, DPF delete and a Smarty Touch S2G. The programmer doesn't work right, but Smarty is sending the stuff out to fix it..The truck is a beast and will be even more so, whenever I get the programmer up and going again. I turned my boost up this morning; just did 2 rotations, and man did it really wake it up..It sounds freaking great.

Nice and educating video's, keep up the good work guys. Just if I can make a suggestion, my opinion is that you really need to remove music from your videos, or at least really lower the music volume. It is annoying and distracting.

Did you go from 462 to 525 horsepower with just changing the dps exhaust manifold and the same injectors on both dynos? The exhaust manifold increased 63 horsepower by itself?

This turbos the selling point should be spool and egt. Any idiot can make hp.
