Definitely the best video on cleaning this bizarre fan

Having done it. I'm pretty much convinced it's not worth taking apart to clean. True, the top part, I've taken and run a hose through because it made the fan stopped working, but when I got down to the internal filters they're just really wasn't a whole lot there to clean. And now the associated problems with the reassembly and noisy filters and motors is more of a problem than before I took it apart.

Thank you for showing us the video I never had fans like this other than pedal fan. I am scared of electric shocks so I better stick to the pedestal fans.

Cheers Vince. This fan is terrible when it needs cleaning.

Are their Dyson service centers that will do all of this for a fee? This is way too complicated! Wow!

What is the model no. Of the screw at the last inner layer? I can’t figure out it’s T15 or T50 .

The fact I had to do all this is ridiculous, at least now my dyson works better than before

Put it back together, now it has a hum and a whistle

Horrendously bad design by dyson Have mine 6 mths and noticeable decline in the effectiveness of the machine Having to completely take apart to clean the filters is a ridiculous bad effort in the design

What a ridiculous design. You have to disassemble the fan to clean the filters, which should be readily accessible if they're to do their job. Dyson technology over practicality.
