If it's any help engineering mode is - Hold the temperature button down while turning the power on then release temperature and immediately press the dirt button, It'll show you temperature, Rotation speed, How many washes it's done etc, To exit just power cycle While its running (if you ever get it running) temp and dirt steps forward and back in the running program but it will usually only let you do one step at a time (It shows what step its doing as a 2 digit number on the right) F15 - That neither micro switch detecting if its in contrarotate mode is on or off is depressed? Other guess (as the pump is running constantly) that the flood sensor has been tripped I had the CR02 for over 10 years and loved it dearly until the bearings began to fail, Stupidly replaced it with a Bosch which I hate

Thanks, I don't think I can fix this one. the drum in a drum is seized. I have a few Bosch Machines that are about 20 years old and I think the are very good. The older ones before electronic controls.

Always wondered how you get the drums out of these, crazy how complex they are just for this! I was reading apparently on the day it was being show cased it failed on the spin and they don’t have the best reviews either and Dyson lost a lot of money cause of it I think

On the one hand it's complex, but if you could get cheap spares for the spider then it probably wouldn't be an issue. It didn't really take that long to take it apart, and it was easier than some machines, miele springs to mind. and with the front and back off it was easy access, lots of space to work on it. If you had one of these in a soft water area and used the correct amount of detergent it should have been fine. I like the idea.

Most common faults with these were getting part of the drum coming away from the drums, metal fragments... that would fall into outta drums and cause it to not move freely, if you remove the outta panel, and use coat hanger, u can get it down the sides and remove the fragments with it, and the drums should move... thats my first guess before taking fully apart, cos they are really annoying to take to bits, the amount of screws and bolts is crazy...

It appears that F15 = gear change too slow This relates to the servo mechanism which engages the contra-rotation. It may be that it just needs lubrication or there may be damage to the mechanism itself. You can possibly take the back off and disconnect the water supply

It 's weird, they're not badly made when compared to other machines, its just that they have too much to go wrong. The tolerances are all quite tight on the inner drum.

Indeed and thanks, but if the drum is seized how can it go into contrarotate mode anyway? any bypass?

@@bootsowen I'm not sure there is a bypass on these which is why it's a problem if the contra rotation fails

Some of these had a replacement gearbox which "neutered" the machine by linking both drums together, thus removing the contrarotation capability

They only made them between 2000-2005

bootsowen not long at all really. They realised how much of a failed attempt it was when there was so many issues with the drums. Some would seize like this one, the front half wouldn’t turn, they eat through the bearings like it’s breakfast lol so they mainly had to disable the contrarotator which defeated the point of the machine really...

​@@bootsowen Sorry, I don't really know anything about this machine. Maybe try reseting this washer? Press and hold temp button and while holding this button switch m/c on. Then within 2 seconds press soil type button. You should now see diagnostic mode displayed with other numbers. Atleast that's what I found on the internet. Also good I really like your videos, keep it up!

thanks, it is a very old thread, I think that that is just the first error. because it is just the first step to the contrarotator not working.
