Dyson DC24 roller brush switch (grey color) stuck- Solved

Please ignore poor video skills.
The gray switch for turning on the brush motor got stuck in the down position and was not working I opened it up and used a ball pen spring to solve the problem I hope it works if I anyone has a better suggestion please mention it in the comments
