Favorite thing about my TP04 is the noise. It's so unique and soothing. I had a problem with a bad 3rd party filter so I was without it for 3 days waiting on a genuine one to be delivered, and omg, I slept so awfully in that time. While it's not the most powerful fan or the highest performing air purifier, it is the best at doing both. And in the looks department no one even comes close.

Hi. You might be able to help me work something out. I just bought this product, really like it, called it Marvin. The heater seems very loud and I’m worried it’s defective. It states on the Dyson product page that the temperature setting range is '(0-37 degrees)', what happens if you set it to 0 degrees C? presumably (because it has no air conditioning functionality) it doesn't freeze things? Hence isn't this specification on their website incorrect...

MMX2 no, peltier pads have a hot and cold side. You still need to exhaust the heat to somewhere. Without that you would just be heating and cooling the room at the same side.

Very informative.wish I had seen this video before I bought this Dyson. My problem is that not being a scientist I wish someone or a leaflet explaining what all these numbers mean like Vo etc. If someone could tell me what is the best numbers to have. I believe it might, I use it in my bedroom we have had several heaters and when we switch the heaters on the lamp goes dim but with the Dyson it doesn’t go dim or flicker. I just got it yesterday and don’t regret it beautiful product. But on this video he shows the app and being able to control heating not in the US you need to use the remote.

I have just received mine and set it up. I am a psychotherapist so bought it for my office, there is no way I can have this on heat setting quietly.. at 22 its quiet but not warm or strong enough airflow to keep the room warm... so disappointed .. setting 1 or 10 makes no difference to the sound.. folks its the heat that causes the noise.. notice on this video its on cool setting... Could you do a true video put the fan on 25% heat on level 3 flow and show folks how noisy it actaully is...

Indeed Dyson is meant to purify your air, it cleans it. But its not magical, I would suggest to vacuum every day your house and furniture too, in order to remove all cats hair. Go on the Dyson website, and choose carefully the model that would fit you the most. But again, the Dyson just by itself, won't help a lot if you don't clean your house very well with a vacuum. There is vacuum with Hepa filters, which helps capturing allergens. I am not a doctor or so, I am just a customer, so please along my comment, keep checking more sources on the web, since Dyson are pretty expensive. Regards

Mine is broken with an exclamation point in the information window . bought in 2019 ,broke in 3 years .Service terrible . I called and felt like I was applying for their approval to speak with me . After all that , I gave up, so its time for the 5 pound hammer .Afterwards l'll cool down with a $25.00 box fan .

This is an extremely miss leading video, as other comment mention, none of the Dyson purifier will cool down a room. All it will do, is purifying the air through its filter, before rejecting it. So you will have a clean air flow going out of it. Also, yes it is quiet, but only on the first power settings. Power setting goes up to 10, over 3, it is noisy.

The problem with the Dyson Hot & Cool is that it has a fundamental flaw which Dyson does not seem to know how to fix. I bought one of these and after about 4 months use it developed a high pitched whining noise (rather irritating). Since it was under a 2 year warranty, I had it returned to Dyson and after some hassle, Dyson sent me a replacement, which I’ve been using now for about 3 months and it too has developed the same high pitched whining noise problem. Clearly this product is unreliable and it has been more trouble than it’s worth. Since there is still time left on the 2 year warranty, I shall return it to Dyson, to decide what they intend to do about it. I have lost all faith in this company and regret having bought it. Disappointing. I hope that Dyson just gives me a refund, rather than send me yet another one which will start to whine after about 3 months..... and then what ? Send it back to them again ?

Just to clarify I've even spoken to Dyson about this it does not cool the air it just moves the air and filters it... The original AM 07 Dyson fan is far superior to the rest for the air flow out Put , Dyson made a very poorly designed decision with most of the other fans they never increase the power of the motor to allow for the filtration. This means you get far worse airflow then the original design,..
