This DIY video of the Dyson power head is top tier quality with very easy to follow direction. I am surprised that this particular video has had so few views.

Thanks for the kind words Robert. KZbin is very strange about how videos are prioritized. Sometimes they take off, other times they don't.

But if it ABSOLUTELY is NOT the power head itself ...because DUHH if NONE of the poweheads work all the sudden it is NOT the attachment ....which is my problem ...NO POWER getting to the power head FROM the main base unit ....no one seems to address THIS

Hm. So you're saying that your vacuum isn't putting power out of the two little metal prongs meant to power the head unit? If you haven't already done so, hook up a volt meter to these prongs (on the vacuum itself) and verify no power is coming. If that is the case, I would suspect either an internal fuse (not sure if one exists or where it would be) or the power head button (located next to the power button) to be the culprit. You'll probably need to take the unit apart further to investigate and I would highly recommend a volt meter (and being careful) and testing the leads to and from the power head button next + looking for any fuses inside of the machine.

The main unit contains a PCB which controls the power head I imagine that is where the problem lies @@charlieaf92

You may be better off buying the entire head assembly, amzn.to/2LHEdfT
