Brilliant bike. If you live in town this could replace you car 80% of the time while being easier, just as fast, and getting you outside. In a city this would be faster, easier, and cheaper than a car.

a dual battery is probably not really necessary, its easy to swap out so you could just carry another one with you.

This seemed like a nice package for the price, around 6000€ with discounts, until I read the weight in the specsheet. It weighs 75 kg. Seventy five kilograms. That's like twice the weight of a RM Load. I cannot wrap my head around how Trek managed to make the bike so heavy. Is the box made of cast iron or something I dunno.

It seems well specced but it's like 50% heavier than a competitor like an Urban Arrow. Why would you do that? This seems like a real error from Trek.

I think this might be because of its high load capacity? It requires significant increase in strenght and thus weight, it indeed is a tank for 1 adult and 4 kids
