1200w 48v seems a bit much for a trike. You pretty much have to be stopped to go around a corner with it.

Hello there. I've been watching tons of KZbin videos about conversion kits for my bike. Size is 700 x 38C. I've been debating between a front hub or a rear hub kit. After watching this video I am leaning towards the rear hub kit, however, I saw comparison videos between the 2 of these, and one of the cons mentioned about the rear hub was the fact the rear hub's spokes tend to break frequently. I have a couple of questions about that. 1. Is it true about the spokes? 2. I looked for the 122w Raleigh Talus you showed on the video but was not able to find it. 3. Does this kit come in 700 x 38C size? Thanks

Why don't you use 1200W motor with inbuilt controller

They tend to break overheat and be irreparable. I have a bike with a 1500-2000 watt rear hub setup with an inbuilt controller but a couple of weeks ago the controller died on me the wheel gave resistance and the error code indicates a controller problem, you basically can’t buy a replacement controller because there aren’t any. I have now ordered a normal controller and will convert my setup to have external controller.

Is there any sort of warranty from ebikeling if the internal controller goes out ? How long did you have it before it died? What conditions and battery set up?

The first thing I got in mind watching on 3:50 is this video and message kzbin.info/www/bejne/mGrcfWirqLF5nbs I personally know two people who did not follow this message and one was 2 weeks in a hospital... the second still has a big scar on his head. On the power - I own now 250W e-bike, and frankly can not get whz one need more than that. For speeds 20mph+ one would need a really good bike to hold on the road. For -20mph 250W is more than enough..
